Hey, how's it going everyone?! Welcome to Soloing the Ark. I'm Phlinger Phoo. In The Underdogs series, I plan on seeing just how far the Dino's no one ever cares about can actually go. Can Hyena's Take on the Broodmother? Can Calicotherium fight the Overseer? Can you run the caves with just an Iguanodon? I plan on finding out, for the little guys, the dreamers, for the UnderDogs! I look forward to testing out so many things in this challenge!

You might want to change the breeders for your xp farm. I don't expect to see tamed gigas in underdogs but hyaenodon babies actually give 4x more xp than chalico babies. And canabalism seems an appropriate method for a weird play through. I'm just sayin' If that's too weird, bigfoots give slightly more xp than hyaenodons. Or, is murderizing humanoid babies even weirder? Comment your vote below... 😉

I usually leave breeders on ignore group whistles. That way you'd be able to tell them to harvest the babies. Too bad you can't have a lystro in the area since you won't be over there. For me, it only takes about 2/3rd the amount of babies to get my required XP with a lystro, compared to without.

Very cool! Reminds me of the Giga baby farm I have on Gen 1 lol. But the babies are lvl ~200 on hatch. Killing just a few gets my dino close to cap. Though what I do is put the eggs in a vault for when I am ready to use them, like little packets of XP for my dinos

Once I ran into a pack of about 30 fully grown unclaimed allos in the redwoods, must have left them on breeding and they gliched through the walls. 😬 lol

I know you don't normally use mods, but there is one that would go a long way toward fixing your creature XP troubles. It's called Riderless XP, and it basically just enables XP sharing for tamed creatures. I've been using it for a while and it's INCREDIBLY helpful with leveling up packs of creatures.

I am level 195 and still inteact, tame, and test all different kinds of dinos. The pachy that died very early un the series wasnt given a fair shot. He was far unleveled and thrown into the deepend as in most of the testing here has been.

now a level or 2 above for penguin and metal raptor babies so you get a resource farm to boot

There is an option to just manipulate dinos xp which is where I screwed up when I first started I had to cut it down

I use a similar setup for harvesting my Tek paras

I find this hard to do. My dinos kill the babies too fast so the body doesn't give any mats.

@@presskeysallday height of you make this setup but higher it works about 10 to 15 walls high you can also add roofs like two walls high and leave a gap in the middle and a gap on each end so only one para falls through and the rest land on roof when Dino kills one it will cause the panic run and they'll eventually fall down grown enough to be harvested

You may need to get more females so it drops alot more babies to get faster xp for the tame

I think they stopped supporting primitive plus sadly, at least on xbox one. I had the problem you are having
