Patrick, you have revolutionized the bow tie algorithm! I've been tying it the old style for over 20 yrs and your method (or your adaptation of ProfessorShoeLaces method)has made tying a bow time super fast and way easier! You can teach an old dog new tricks :) 7.5 seconds is gotta be a world record!

Warm and dry... is has been really odd! we might get into some trouble with a drought this year. how is the West coast treating you? I hear the housing market is still on fire!
@PatrickNovotny8 жыл бұрын
+Alberta Urban Garden Simple Organic and Sustainable Fairly warm when the sun is out and chilly still when it is raining. The housing market in Victoria is has improved overall and is hot in certain areas with many multiple offers and prices have gone up about 10% in the hot neighbourhoods.
@AlbertaUrbanGarden8 жыл бұрын
That is great for your industry! here its looking like all of the housing prices are about to tank by 10-15 %

+Alberta Urban Garden Simple Organic and Sustainable Alberta has always been a boom and bust kind of place with heavy ties to natural resource prices. At least the Canadian dollar is cheap and should work great for exports. Well, at least that's what I hear the experts say.

One way to mess up trying this is to tie the initial step the opposite way. At 01:00 he has the initial crossover with left over right. If he started with right over left, but made all the rest of the moves unchanged, he would end up with a Granny knot, and the bow would keep wanting to lie vertically instead of horizontally across his neck. This drove me crazy until I figured it out. ProfessorShoeLace explains this at the end of kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYCQqZSAp8aiZ9k ;

If you are having trouble using his hand formations I'd watch the shoelace video as well so that you can see how it works in detail bc that is what I have to do in order to figure it out but after I knew what was actually happening I was able to tie it after 3 or 4 tries but before I analyzed what was going on I couldn't do it at all
