I have lost people in the same way. These days, it seems so futile, to search for humility. If it exists, it is scarce. People who understand this, should band together, just to see how many of us there are. I don't know. Hopefully more than we think. Ειρήνη.

It was me that did it. Always playing Maynard everything. To that must have taken allot because he loves Chino considered naming his child Chino but ended up with a girl. Now Maynard is what gets me through each day. Leaning heavily on APC for support. I wish Maynard knew how much he's helped not just myself but so many of us through times we might not have without him. And he's so humble truly a Mr. Sir, I would love to sit for a glass of wine and intelligent conversation sometime or let him rough me up on the matt. One of many reasons I simply admire manyards ability. His work in this industry, not only gives the rock genre new life (I mean could collaborate with the pet shop boys and go platinum) but his ability to make a song have what ever meaning you the listener decides it to have. This song is about love and devotion to whatever may be that you hold on to very dearly. Flowing down the river as in time flying by uncontrolably and constantly fighting inner conflict with hopes that the one you hold on to dearly still sees you the way they saw you at one point, searching for adoration. Going into your own shadow in search for the bright light you once felt. The light betrays you because you start to see truth in dark areas that are now being illuminated but it wasnt how you expected it to be. You notice things that you wish you didnt making it hard to hold on to the image that you once had. Thus being crushed by the heavy weight of wanting to be adored like you once were but no longer possible.

Again from Tool to perfect circle to Pusicfer, Maynard's lyrics and voice is epic and would be very hard to ever surpass by another. I get pissed when I see any thumbs down, and this is my saying now, if your thumbing down on Maynard, your mind must be dumbed down. ;)

Jennacide Angel wow your name is my made up name for my guitar. How ironic. The ex was Jenna and the guitar took her place on the bed and being a Dave Mustaine signature zero Angel of Deth; voila. I put a S between the a c though for a band name being a possessive. Anyway nice name 👍🏻

Jennacide Angel you have pretty good taste in music too, judging by your created playlist two days ago so I subscribed. But that was probably because your profile pic is hella sexy!😈

Serenity the Insane I don't think anyone in Tool is a drug addict. They seem pretty functional and stable.

I almost cried on my way to college once while listening to this song on the lightrail. So beautiful, the eat the elephant version is alright but the speed of the song wants me longing more.

I feel the same! My favorite part is around 4:06 when those high hats and snare shots come in. In the Eat the elephant version that's not in it. :(
