@Verne Dimatteo Or...let's just respect that people have different opinions, instead of trying to disabuse people to conform to our own; especially on a subject as subjective as music.
@olly84534 жыл бұрын
@Verne Dimatteo You've made a lot of asinine assumptions there. You can disagree with my opinion all you want, but at least try and represent it accurately. I don't want a band to conform to my musical tastes, I want the band to freely express themselves; but that doesn't mean I have to like what they've produced. For the record, I do like this album, but it's a clear departure from the type of sound APC has produced prior, and IMO sounds almost like a different band; all the qualities I loved in previous APC albums are mostly missing in this new Album. It's a fool's errand to try and disabuse people of their musical tastes.

I'm in love~ I've been feeling really lost without music of late. Rn the songs I do have on list I've worn out completely so it's just bland and monotonous with no heart left to give. I also had a moment when I deleted all of my music having been fed up with certain people and things in my life that I was about ready to kill that part of me for good despite the fact music has always been my life whether listening or creating. I'm really glad I remembered A Perfect Circle and looked up some of their songs to come across this. It's like a dark haze that surrounded me was lifted, and a wave of euphoric nostalgia that only comes in holy reverence of what makes us human inside washed over me to survive in a clock work orange society run by big brother and the machine.
