Saw them at Red Rocks in April, 2024, same tour... Went into the concert thinking of the Thirteen Step and all of its meaning given every song pertains to my deceased son, including this one (he came out pumped after a stent in a rehab facility). What I didn't expect was the realization that this was all written 20+ years ago when Maynard must have been in much different place mentally. I expected to be sadly reassured like I am each and every time I listen to the album (still to this day can not listen to Gravity...), but Maynard was playful and upbeat throughout the entire concert. I came away with some sort of weird sense of relief... His voice too... OMG,.. so pitch perfect and pure. We're all lucky!

Stand alone show in between Sessanta Tour. In fact I heard because of the storms in Colorado the tour trucks were unable to get their gear to this show on time, so they rented gear last minute. Kind of bad ass that they were able not cancel and still sound badass without their own instruments.
