Like the looks of the acorn, but not into the gold blade. Gimme a good stonewash, or black coated blade. I'd even take a good satin, just not gold. Too gas station-y for me.

I can kinda agree with you about the micarta. I for one have always liked the mircarta qsp puts out for the price of a standard penguin. Maybe you should check them out and I believe it's a back flipper. However you're not going to get a lot of guys who are really into knives agree with you about front flippers. I was like you when I first got into knives, hated hated hated front flippers, until I could figure out how to do it, suddenly it was like I unlocked a new super power and I instantly fell in love with them. I guess it's like anything like skateboarding or trick bikes, if you're not into your just gonna be the guy that shakes his head and says to himself " freaking kids". This knife is going to do good for itself and I can almost promise you they will sell out, yeah the micarta might not be the best, but it's not the worst either. The gold pvd will make it a great hit and personally would like to see more of this from manufacturers. I'm sure it has awesome action for being a vosteed. I don't think it's a going to be a knife for me because I'm not into knives much smaller than an Elementum, but it will be a big hit especially for guys who like these smaller knives.

@@terryt-rexhanke746 I think front flippers become an acquired taste the longer your into knives, anymore that's the first thing I look for in a knife and I'm like sweet front flippers. I've seen quite a few now that have front and back at the same time which I think maybe the corgi is like that if I remember right.
