I have a prism plasma pyro and that disc is sweet. It has quite a weird hand feel but it just flies so well and for me its a perfect forehand mid

My approach disc lineup is beat up ESP zone, then Z zone, then a prism plasma pyro for a longer zone and bigger skip. To me and for me it's a perfect lineup

Chasing PR's is the only thing I do on my local course, and when your PR isn't even par, you get to figure out if you're on pace really quickly. Whenever you're close to doing it, hole 17 always bites ya 😢

I was looking for something in this slot for a while. Tried other overstable mids, Roc3, BuzzOS, and others and couldn’t find one that I could forehand with any consistency. Buddy had me try it in Proton Prism plastic on a hole that I just over cranked my zone left and blasted an Eagle 60ft too far. I nearly put it right in the chains. Went out the next day and bought one. By far, hands down, my favorite overstable mid.

I went out yesterday for the first time in a month and I hit the cage off the tee. So close. It was nice to see I still somewhat have it lol. I do really like my pyros. I favor the prism plasma plastic though. I use a uplink, hex and pyro. I have a deflector that I have on standby. I have a detour and lightweight hex that I am going to be testing out this spring. The archive wants a spot in my bag too. So many great discs really. Can't bring them all.

Hell yes, Nate!! Some of my favorite discs are the Pyro, Defelctor and Resistor. You may need to check those to see if they might have any usefulness for you.

I have thrown Neutron and Proton. Haven't really noticed any difference. Both are very reliable and similar in flight. Runway is the Streamline version but I like the Pyro so much better. Runway is a little straighter. You should try a Resistor.

For me the perfect OS mid is the Terminal Velocity Ursus. Glass is beat in but can still trust it into the wind. My glow is so OS it makes my justice almost useless.

My prism plasma Pyro is significantly more overstable than the prism proton. Proton has a nice forward pushing stability, like a mid range version of the Tesla. The plasma has a bit more dump and ground action but is still more workable than the deflector. I have a prism neutron but haven't thrown it much to do a solid comparison.

Get a Neutron Prism Pyro and beat it in. It'll go dead straight with that beauty fade skip at the end. Proton is a touch more overstable

I throw a zone and have recently got a pyro back in the bag. I’ve been interested in some Prodigy as I’ve never really give them a fair shot. In your opinion, is there too much overlap in a zone, a2, and a pyro? I’ve always thought the a2 was a faster zone with a bit more dump, so seems like the Pyro would cover that. I also have a baby boy forehand so it may be all relative.

Pyro feels clunkier. The transition from flight plate to nose is really flat and the wing is really 'V' shaped. The Pyro feels more like a squared off Reactor than a Hex.
