Really nice coffee table 👌I’m glad to see you using dust mask for sanding down 👍👍👍

That’s NOT how you use a jointer! I can’t get past the first minute. This kind of dangerous did-information is what makes inexperienced woodworkers lose their fingers! Please have regard for others if you have none for yourself.

It´s very scary, we in Germany say: Ohne Schutz an der Abrichte - fräst die Hände statt die Fichte I have learn this job and i cant´see this 😑

I learned the hard way on 8/8/19. Man, that hurt. Still have all my digits, by the grace of God.
@expatmooseАй бұрын
Unfortunately in their countries there’s more people than jobs, you do as your told keep the job, loose a digit loose the job, no one cares, no health insurance bla bla bla, we should be thankful we get proper education and training in the western world along with all that goes with it

Safety standards in many of these videos are nonexistent…but there again you can’t expect anything else in Asian sweatshops
@billsicander73715 ай бұрын
No safety measure with the jointer !! Hope you will still have your hands in a year….insane procedures, not to recommend to beginners

At least he used a pusher when he used his table saw. Showing my ignorance here, but what is a jointer?

@@brazillady5119 the jointer is the one he’s using at 1:00 into the video. Tablesaws will cut your fingers/hand off. Jointers will turn them into ground beef.
@keithhooper6123Ай бұрын
In the UK the machine would be called a planer/thicknesser. A jointed would be a U.S. term,,which in the UK has been used to describe a bench top planer.

@@keithhooper6123 Thanks for the info. I love watching but not sure of the types of woodwork machinery. Still not sure which way is the safe way to use them.

Mr woodworking-craft I like two of your other comments earlier would like to give you some advice. That advice is never stand behind any timber whilst machining. I learnt from experience when the timber I was machining caught and sent the timber flying and it hit me in the abdomen, . It hurt like hell , I had several hours in hospital whilst they checked me out.

That is not a coffee table, more like a dining room /kitchen table . Surprised he hasn’t had an accident yet and lost some fingers .

Safety standards? We don't need them. It's a question of time, when you lose one or more fingers. Don't show this in public!
