A Perpetual Pursuit | Part:2 | Roach fishing | Loch Lomond

Following on from the first of our Autumn/Winter Roach session, which started in superb fashion with a stunning 1lb 5oz slab of silver, before taking a steady nosedive and fizzling out with little else of note, we find ourselves yet again in search of that special fish.
Will this session produce the quality of sport that this area is renowned for, or will we be in for another frustrating day on the feeder.
At least the weather seems to be finally on our side… Or does it?

Alright guys see "the pier" will that be under water now that the water level is really high, looking to get out and do a spot of piking, regardless if it is -6. I have another spot or 2 but it could be tricky getting to it I haven't been up in a few weeks. Cheers

Hey guys great video once again with plenty of advise, could you please tell me the best months of the year to target roach at the spot you are fishing, as would love to give it ago as never fished for roach on Lomond only pike on lures/flies and sometimes dead baits. Hi Peter. It fishes well for most of the year. there is a bit of a lull in May-July, but from then the Perch begin to show up. By far the best time for Roach is February to April, but late summer/early autumn can be good too.

Balmaha shop sells day tickets, last year was £7 per day, possibly went up as the annual one has went up from £50 to £75. Fishing on any side really depends on the water levels and weather.
