I've been to Thailand 9 times in the past 20 years, my best friend has lived over there for over 10 years now and with a little help from Chris and Andrew and all their connections, he's now a property owner in Koh Samui and couldn't be happier. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris, Adam, Andrew and a bunch of their family and friends over Christmas and I can you tell you one thing, Chris is as genuine a human being as they come, he's the real deal. The whole RWFY gang is amazing and if you ever get a chance to meet them, work with them, contribute to the "Pay it Forward" projects or just break out of your daily grind and get to Thailand to experience something new and different, I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work brother!!

Hey Chris, I rarely make comments on KZbin videos, but as a fellow Canuck I felt that I needed to show my support. Over the course of the Pandemic, I’ve witness you put your blood, sweat, and tears into this channel. I’ve laughed to the point of tears at your jokes and I’ve been touched at the philanthropy you’ve displayed. I’m about 25 years from retirement, but I know where I’ll be living when I do 😉. Don’t listen to all the naysayers making negative comments while you’re spreading positivity. Keep promoting Thailand, keep promoting your tours, and keep giving back to the community, You are truly appreciated! All the best! Jason N.

Just do what you love and I am sure most of you here have common sense of what’s good or not. But then again who am I to judge, who drew the lines? The only think made me mad about this is I am half Thai living in paradise why cannot I do better. You are inspirational and no one is big enough to make everyone happy! For myself I try to make my family and my family happy first that is my goal for now. The majority of KZbin watchers that find value and really take advice are lurkers. For years I’ve never interacted with content online but I’m always watching and it gives me so much value. I started watching your videos just before I went out to Thailand in December and the advice and experience that you and other Thailand KZbinrs have shared was so helpful. I sub to the Thailand weekly newsletter and definitely going to jump on the members group. No doubt in my mind that your yours are incredible and seeing Thailand in this way is how people really experience Thailand. I made friends whilst in Rawai and a local Thai gave me a tour on the back of a bike, showed me around Phuket, we ate, went out and I just got the real feel for Thailand. I could be wrong here but I don’t think most westerners understand the tour type of thing. I found it a bit odd at first but once you’re in Thailand it’s just completely normal and gives you the opportunity to meet new people, make friends and really embrace Thai culture and the way of living. Sabai sabai 🙏🏼 Bit of a long winded comment but I thought I’d drop my experience. If you’re considering going to Thailand just go, don’t think about it. Go on a tour and explore!

I have gone through similar analysis. I am Thai who used to live in North America for 12 years. Now, I have. been back to Thailand since 2016. I share the same sentiments with you Chris. Thailand is the best place to live on Earth. And I also share the same idea that mainly it is because of Buddhism and Thailand can preserve our ways of lives because Thailand has never been colonized.

Chris, there is no crime nor should there be guilt in being entrepreneurial. The way I see it is that through your work you are providing an easier way for people to access a glimpse of a possible different life and pace and experience than western living. At the very least people will get a chance to live and have once in a lifetime experiences if making a life shift to them isn't what they are looking for. I'm also Canadian and went to Asia/Thailand for the first time late last year and early this year and was absolutely blown away and amazed by my experience there, I loved it. My spouse is Thai so the experience was much easy for me in terms of language and cultural adjustments (she did most of the talking lol). I myself am seriously considering making the move to Thailand. Keep up the great work and sharing your passions for Thailand and what it has to offer. Cheers from Vancouver, love the channel.

Hi guys. First off, we love you and all the hard work you put into promoting Thailand and its people. If people don’t like what you are doing, then they can switch to another KZbinr. So you promote tours, real estate and Teenee app- but if you don’t want to use them, then don’t, no one’s forcing folks to use these services. You have a team, their expenses need to be paid - so your services help to pay these costs. What the moaners don’t mention is the pay it forward events (ok not events but you know what I mean) that really help people who are struggling and just need a bit of help getting back on their feet- a hand up not a hand out. Ok rant over! You guys are doing great and hopefully I can buy you all a Leo or two sometime.

Well Chris.. I have been here since the beginning..as a Canadian I have been very proud to watch everything you have GIVEN to the pay it forward activities thru covid, your generosity to Thai's in need, schools, children and especially the animals... I must admit I have lost my way on your channel lately as the focus to paying it forward seems to have faded away...my dream was yes to visit Thailand.. one of only a handful of countries in the world I haven't visited and to aid in your pay it forward efforts... but from an outward appearance your focus seemed to change to monetization of the channel ... don't get me wrong.. one day I hope to avail my self of the things you have put in place, and I understand people like your nephew and others need to eat and live... so I get it.. I LOST CONNECTION , not you.. here I sit in Bancroft Ontario Canada, watching the insanity of our world ... waiting, wanting and hoping that one day I can visit Thailand not as a tourist, but as a contributer to a pay it forward campaign, as a Canadian helping others.. my dream, visit the animal shelter and donate carts and supplies to the Dog Mafia...that would make a Trip to Thailand the kind of experience I would love to see and be part of Giving Back, Pay it forward tourism... thanks Ted Lennox

I completely do not believe Chris started this channel to make money. His first video was him doing pushups, not many though. There was not a thought it would be like it is today. As his channel grew a brand new business grew. Chris has an addictive personality that not many of us could match. I am sure there are 100's of people that look at Chris and think, "Ya I would love to be doing videos like you". Chris has that special ingredient, that je ne squa kwa that makes it work. He does not push anything on to anyone, he just presents it in a nonchalant way and it is up to us if that is what we want. The way he shows Thailand is incredible because it shows everyone what it is like and that we can do it to with or without him. I am sure it would make his day to receive some pics of a place that he featured and you were there and said thanks. I feel that Thailand is an incredible country with amazing people and I love that he features that.

Hi Chris, anybody that watches your channel on a regular basis will know of your love & respect of Thailand. Your enthusiasm shines through in every frame of your vlogs. Your intentions are good, the videos are a joy to watch and I couldn't think of any better reason or ways of enjoying your retirement. You obviously have the resources and the ability to do these things, there's nothing wrong in giving a little of the love you have for Thailand, a place you've made your home, back to the people, whether it's to farang KZbin viewers or the Thai children in the schools you've visited in the past. I remember watching in admiration when the world had come to a standstill, you found ways of helping the ordinary Thais who had nothing: no work, no income, no food, during the dreaded Covid pandemic. If other's can't see or understand your intentions, or more probably, refuse to see, it says more about their mentally as a person than it does about you and you team. Keep up the good work and heck, there's nothing wrong with having a bit of a laugh along thw way either. I, for one, would certainly like to buy you a Leo next time I'm in Thailand... ...if only I knew of a KZbin channel that gave away freebie flights!!!?

Everybody has their reasons. No one place in this world is "perfect", so you choose what works best for you. As my wife and I are in our mid 40s, working professionals, in the USA, and childless, we have been discussing what happens when we retire...when we walk away from our corporate careers. Increasingly, we are looking at places like Thailand. My wife is originally from Vietnam, but we see Thailand (and Chiang Mai) better fitting our needs as we grow older. We get Western convenience, but are also close enough to family in Vietnam. We also have a place well within our budget for retirement regarding Thailand. So, that is our rationale. When we hit 50 years old, we are going to execute on it...4-5 years from now .. subject to a review on feasibility.

You go boy! You already know how much you are loved and appreciated . What you do , how you do it and the keiretsu of companies that you are building around the love of Thailand touches so many people. You are one of a kind. Let the haters do their job and let it roll right off your shoulders. There are so few of them but I want to thank whoever wrote the comment that spurred the making of this video because those of us that support and love everything you do love videos like this just showing you as the only attraction. And yes that trip last week was magical and those of us that were on it felt that spark too and it’s cool as hell. Thanks Chris for everything and just keep doing what you do best: BE YOU. The next 3 years are going to be epic . Carry on !

Hi Chris! I was one of the early adopters to RW4U and I have to mention that it's been and no doubt will continue to be some of the most uplifting things I see online. Especially the periodic "Shining" comparisons. Just sayin. What you, Andrew, and the Team have accomplished in "building things to enhance people's Thailand experience" is so much more than the the physical tours, real estate, and general insights. Every time we see you on a video, you share a friendly optimism that creates possibilities about Thailand...possibilities that allow people like me to dream a bit about making my way to the Land of Smiles. Through your videos I've learned about Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pai, Koh Samui and of course THE FOOD! I'll close with this...these dreams will become a reality in October of 2023, and much of that is due to your efforts, your storytelling, and just being a good dude. Simply, thank you Chris.

I'd say you do it because it's fun and it makes you money. Nothing wrong with that. We all work to make money. But we don't all enjoy what we do.

Hiya Chris. Shame that there are jealous people that have to leave negativity. Your channel and energy are great.

Ignore the haters, Chris, keep doing what you're doing now! We like your channel for the fun and variety you've offered Nothing wrong with monetizing your channel, those haters are just jealous of your life!
I'm a Chiang Mai enthusiast and only found your channel months ago. Thanks for your entertaining videos. And it is stupid for anyone to criticize you for making money on the side from your channel. Man, we all have to make a living, and what does everyone say?... "To be happy, do what you love for your job, and it will never feel like working," Well, something like that, I butchered the phrase, but you get the idea. So you are wise and lucky man to be doing just that. Take care.

To be honest, who wouldn't take advantage on having a platform and an audience to sell things you're passionate about, I see nothing wrong with that! Your love for Thailand transpires and is genuine, keep on doing what you do man!

What do people expect? It’s your channel and if they don’t like the content don’t subscribe. You’ve opened up so many more parts of the country other than Bangkok and Koh Samui. Keep up the good work.

I totally agree with you Chris. I lived in Thailand for 25-years and it always bugged me that I could not figure out how to let others know there is a whole world out there that is different than the cultures and societies people grow up in. Different in a positive way and contrary to ideas that America, for example, is the best country. Far too many people never get the chance to leave what they have grown used to so they can explore what else is out there. I also saw the live and let live attitude in Thailand and it was refreshing to see all the smiles and positive vibes that type of view generated. Your message is being heard loud and clear so please don't question any need you might have to make money that enables you to keep getting the message across. I'm sure many people have not only enjoyed your videos but learned a lot of positive things they may have never discovered. Thanks for that Chris and keep growing the channel. There will always be negative people with nothing better to do than try and make others as miserable as they are. Comes with the territory so don't let it get to you.

Chris, there is nothing wrong with you promoting anything that you want to do! You have a great balance of entertainment, information, promotion of both making money and helping others like with the Pay it Forward program. I hope you make millions and live as extravagantly as you wish.

Hell yeah Chris! Been following your channel since push up days. You’re one of the most respected Thailand KZbinr out right now, don’t let the haters get you down. As to your point; I’ve always dreamed of bringing my friends or family to Thailand just to see their faces as their world view explodes. One day. I think the reason for what you’re doing is amazing and life changing. Keep it up.

Chris, I can remember that it was during cov*d that I watched one of your first videos. It really opened my eyes to other places, cultures, and ways of living life outside of the matrix. A lot of the mood during the pl@ndemic was one of fear, anger, and depression. I believe for myself and many others, your videos were a light of hope during that time. I can't thank you enough. Keep up the good work! God bless you!

"Chris keep doing what you're doing man! i am from Toronto, your home town and grew up in the Coxell and Dundas St E area, same as you. I was very fortunate to be able to come to Thailand three years ago, for a month and just before the C-vid. I was able to travel around the Southern parts and islands and i was blown away by this countries hospitality and warm smiles every where. It was one of my best vacations ever and I long so much to return there. I told my mother about this place and she is retired and we decided that we are coming in the fall and staying there for a very long stay. I appreciate what your doing for Canadians, Thailand and the people of the world. Your hard work and dedication is really paid off, showing this wonderful country. Please never get down, on peoples negative comments on your adventures, with (Tuk Tuk rides), or what ever. Their just jealous and have nothing better to do with their time but complain. They need to understand appreciation and great fullness, in what ever they endeavor, everyday and not write stumpied comments. Don't worry about that crap, you keep doing what you're doing, man. Your bringing joy and showing the world your experiences with yourself and your family. Thank you so much for your channel. I am telling so many people about here, in Canada so they can experience Thailand one day for themselves.. We're are so lucky to have these to great countries, to be a part in. Thailand and Canada. In the future, I look forward to meeting you and Hailey one day, at one of your meet up's either here in Canada or in Thailand"! ( Khawp khun khrap) Mojo Mountain🙏

I just got back from Thailand. Was there through most of November. Was in Bankok, then Pattaya, then Phuket, then back in Bankok. I was there for my cousins wedding (He married a Thai woman and the wedding was in Thailand). I, like many had been looking into visiting SE Asia, but never took action. My cousins wedding was the event that finally pushed me to make it happen. I had never been out of the USA other than Vancouver BC. Just like the creator of this video states, make it happen and at least visit once. My trip was great. I definitely learned a lot, so some time was spent learning the ropes, and if I visited again it would go much smoother. Bet even so, my trip was exactly as good as I expected. Watching videos from creators like this channel helped me so much, and I am grateful for these videos. Have an open mind on your trip and don't get to stressed, just roll with whatever comes. Plan your days out, but don't sweat it if things don't go to plan. I actually wanted to go to Vietnam, and for my next trip I want to try another SE Asian country. But I had so much fun in Thailand that part of me wants to go back. Sitting here is the sub zero Wisconsin weather...............I miss the 90 degree heat, putting my hotel room key fob in the wall to turn on room electricity, the 80 baht street food, the gauntlet of massage lady's heckling me walking to and from my hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 1 alley, tuc tuc guys over charging me, scooter taxi rides fearing my arms would get torn off on a car mirror, the obstacle course that is the sidewalks, Sing Ha beer, shopping malls so big you can get lost in them, markets everywhere, guys on scooters driving the wrong way on a one way street because they don't want to go around the block, challenging communication with people who know like 4 words of English, and most of all the Thai people, who were very busy with their own lives, but would be gracious, respectful and helpful if you ever needed them.

Hi Chris, you are more than qualified to influence how youtube is used and what you ‘just’ do on your channel!! No-one can match your ‘online’ journey and they are not qualified to comment in the manner they do. I base my position upon your incredible cross cultural journey that commenced in 1994 and the ‘love story’ you and Haley share. I am envious of all you do. Sir, I salute you!!
