If we go by the same rule then president of India, Ramnath Kovind's caste (Koli who are Dalits/BC by Government Rules) should not be Dalit because Ramnath Kovind is president of India therefore all the Koli Dalits are Rajvanshi (i.e... Ruler of India in 2017-2022) and they should not be entitled for backward caste benefits.

I am not sure if Mr. Gopal Patel informed Gunvant Bhai that he is recording the conversation. If not than it is not proper and may be illegal in that sense. Gopalbhai in his jest and seriousness in what he believes never allowed much time for Gunvantbhai to have opportunity to speak and have a meaningful conversation. I agree that BC, OBC and other such reserve system is unfair and does not pay attention to qualification and Gopalbhai has a valid point however instead of eliminating such bias he is asking to perpetuate this bad system With political strength of patidar community they should demand that this system be eliminated at least at the state level. I believe lot of non patidar will support such an approach. Also there should be a higher level of qualification requirements. Regarding jobs in Govt, how many jobs Govt can create to satisfy such a demand from every one? Just to satisfy the political pressure, Govt to remain in power will create useless jobs. Look at the Govt Bank, PSU and other Govt entities which wastes tax payers hard earned money, corrupt and full of non qualified people. Economic issues will not be resolved by the Reservation System, in fact faster it is eliminated, better it will be for every one and I hope patidar community does not get blinded by the narrow approach to this issue. Patidar community is industrious community with political as well as financial clout and I hope they use this clout for the good of Gujarat and ask for the total elimination of Reservation System in Gujarat. Gunvantbhai is Rushimuni of modern time and often time it takes much deeper thinking to understand his logic. He deserves our respect even if we do not like his view point.
