A physical challenge

Sometimes in life, you have to give yourself a challenge, or your wife sees something on Facebook and says, "We ought to try that." This was the case in Manitou Springs, Colorado. They have an old cog rail train that was abandoned several years ago, but they left the original ties there. It's affectionately called "the Incline." It was one of the hardest things we've done in a long time, but it was also very rewarding when we reached the summit. I completely sweat through my hat. The 3-mile hike coming back down was beautiful, even though we were socked in by clouds.
