Sounds like the start of a great adventure =)! You could create a little communal garden on the patch of land so you don't need to buy all the expensive fruits and veggies from the shop =) Maybe you could even create a hanging garden and later on a garden hanging from the tree houses.

Hey louis you sould consider composting toilets for the treehouse! They make some very low odor models nowadays! They are hella more ecofriendly than the flush ones and they can be put on a treehouse because they dont require plumbing! It is true they are kind of a chore sometimes but its worth it i think.

I would pop a skirt around the underside of the bus to keep wildlife from chewing any wires etc. And maybe pop a little fence around the area including the decking so people can stay with dogs or kids? like a little teeny picket fence. would look cute and make it more inclusive?

If you have the space and some time I'd recommend growing some food (or using an automated Arduino based system). In addition to that long-term if you want a super dope/unique treehouse mark off some lands and in some raised beds grow some bamboo to build the treehouse. It'd be super green and a very cool airbnb spot that could lend a good roi. shoot me an email if you want some specific examples

Louis, I would NOT recommend a fire pit on that patch of land where the bus now is. That's DRY California that is seriously forest fire prone so badly in the summers as well as up on the Canyons, and I don't even think that would be legal to do there because of those problems. But a nice little deck maybe and a few chairs etc...maybe add a little waterfall thingy or make some nice bird baths and then you could look out the windows of the bus in the mornings and see the birds and wildlife enjoying the space too....

I don't think you punctured the tire. Looks like the bead got unseated from hitting a tree or log... if you get a tire inflator that goes to that pressure you should be able to get it to pop back into place!!!

Um also Louis, treehouses are the bomb but realize that you will be building a tree house in a state and area that has lots of serious earthquakes....so keep t hat in mind when building....might want to include a QUICK escape ladder or chute in case of earthquake. ...don't know I'd want to be up in a tree if that was going on....
