This is a great place to bowl! Kudos to Elaine and Perry for running a top notch operation! The relationships you form during the course of competition are what keeps me coming back to the bowling center after forty two years.

Great work! Very happy I got a chance to work on it with you. This is one of those simple, beautiful films that will make people smile, which is exactly what this world needs right now.

Thank you Scott! I’ve DP’d shorts for other people, but this is my first time directing my own. Otherwise it’s been music videos and commercials.

Great story love the dialouge. What sound. camera, and camera did you use. The lighting was a lil dull and color was old school. Did youdo that on purpose. Music was on point.
@GabeJacobsFilms4 жыл бұрын
Hey Marcus. Camera was mostly a Red Scarlet-W with a Sony A7sii as well. The sound equipment, my sound recordist Matt could answer your questions (www.matthewmleibowitz.com/about). Lastly, the lighting was pretty much what was at the bowling alley. I didn't do much to change it. Thank you for watching.

Wonderful little documentary! Bowling in multiple senior leagues for several years now and all of a sudden to be cut off by Covid, and having to suffer with a clueless governor (Cuomo) when applied to bowling, is causing a lot of heartbreak right now. This needs to be sent to Cuomo so he gets an idea of what he's doing to us!

What can we do to get it in front of Cuomo?

Maybe something like this might change his mine, if we are lucky

I'm amazed at how few bowling centers there are in MA vs the population as compare to NC where we live now. There are no (real) bowling centers between Lowell MA and Boston Bowl, 37 miles. But Greensboro NC has at least 3 bowling centers. Add in Highpoint and Kernersville and you have at least 5 in a 30 mile radius. Unfortunately Our NC governor is an a-hole. His buddies want him keeping everything closed until commercial real estate crashes low enough for them to buy cheap. No bowling even though it is easy to comply with the foolish distancing rules. Many bowling centers and other family owned businesses will never open again.
