It's different and I like it. I am really enjoying the new album. I enjoy Lia's vocals and drumming and the bass is pretty awesome too. I like that ABTBS is trying new things and taking new directions. If I wanted to listen to "Exploding Head" I would just do that. It's not going anywhere. It will always be there for me to enjoy (which I do frequently). But I like to hear a band evolve and change over time. Good job. Can't wait to see the new stuff live. I don't argue with people on the internet. If somebody doesn't like the band or the new album, they're totally entitled to that opinion. I won't try to change their mind if they have given it an honest try. Popular art is usually not good, and good art is usually not popular. That's why there are literally tens of thousands of different acts out there. There truly is something for everyone, so the idea of trying to beat each other up over what we like or don't like seems like about the stupidest waste of energy possible.
