It only matters as much as you think it should. How one labels it in their own mind is a major effect. For instance a successful act of violence causes a dopamine and adrenaline surge, it feels good. Most do not know this is completely natural so many have a downward spiral after a kill a felling elation to it so they assume oh no i must be a monster. And some then indulge that thought.

I wonder why the story and situation looks familiar to me. It reminds me about suikoden 2!! At first you only have 2-3 characters. then you find an old big castle and making it as a frontier, and meeting and recruiting more partners to live in the castle. And sometimes you will leave the castle to do a mission. Plague Tale gives me a similar vibe as that. I miss suikoden game so much. I used to hate rpg games, but not anymore after suikoden 2 . :')

@Gladiator King Mainly through fleas. It went rampant in the summer/bug season. When winter came, the cold pretty much killed the plague off. To think that many people died in such a short few months O.o

@Gladiator KingDefinitely! After the rat fleas bit humans it could be spread through coughs and sneezes(airborne) and the plague doctors mask acted like a filter. It wasn't the best, but it was better than nothing.
