A Plague Tale Innocence Upgrade Glitch No BS Guide

Still working as of 4th August 2024. Its quite tricky and took me about 10 reloads. I was having the issue of it making the sound of doing the upgrade but it didnt actually upgrade anything. The key part is to hold down R1 + X and as soon as it starts to craft you move the D Pad up or down to select the upgrade. Its the switching between an upgrade on the left WHILE your crafting that starts the glitch. Hope this makes sense and helps others!

@jamieuk5751 It does mate, just make sure you move up or down with the d pad while your holding x and keep hold of x and move to each skill that needs upgrading. Keep trying!

Still works on PS5 as of 18 December 2024. Key is once you hold R1 and selected the material to craft for the glitch press X so you are now holding down both R1 and X then just use the D-pad to go up and down your upgrades.

Does not work for me either. The upgrade sound and visual played but the upgrade stayed red and locked.

Just wanted to give you all an update: It does work, it is tricky. The first time I tried, it made the sound and the animation but the icon was still red. Nonetheless, I just kept going with the upgrades and it started working. This is as of June 10th 2024, just got my Platinum thanks to this last trophy with the guide! Version 1.000.000 of the game btw

It still works on ps5, thanks so much I was missing a few items and was so pissed to have to redo half the game 😂 you really have to hold the right joystick selecting igniter while crafting the items on the left !

Tried 1.01.2024 and this not work on ps5 version. There is no ng+ so from how I need to get 5 fur hides 😶

It works you got to hold x too while you do it hold toucpad r1 and x and its gonna work

I can confirm as of January 2024 that it still works on PS5 on the latest patch.

@@mustafa_yeahia I really just followed the video. Make sure that you've already upgraded the skill Attirail to rank 2 - this allows Alicia to craft upgrades without a workbench which is a key part of the glitch.If you've done all that, then just try again. Which part is it not working at? It is a bit tricky to get working, just take it slow once you load into the level with the touchpad held down. There's no time limit, just slowly follow the instructions and you should get it to work.
