Video start - 0:00 Intro - 0:10 Note: This is kill based. The less you kill up to 20% the more likely you earn Prudence skill. If you go halfway without going over or under 20% you will earn Opportunism. Last but not least if you kill over 50% to all the foes in the area you will earn Aggressive. I am doing the two chapter 2 sneak vs kill areas. The first two skills is the first area on a fresh file while the last skill is on the final area on a fresh file. This is just showing on how the skills level up based on the number of kills you do. One last thing you cannot gain all three in one playthrough. It will take two to do so and New Game plus gives you Ultimate difficulty but you have the upgrades from playthrough one including the skills. Thanks. Just use the amount of kills or lack of kills (IE don't kill anyone going for Prudence) and you got this basically. The chapter select made collectibles and many of the trophies/achievements so easy to get.

No worries at all. All I did was two Chapter 2 areas than the Chapter 7 was when I did all the three skills to list what to do in order. Of course the first two skills was the same area I did but just to prove you had kill a certain amount of foes (Or in my case of Prudence none at all) to show how they work. It's my last guide for the game and will announce tonight the next one.

Also it's worth mentioning that when leveling up prudence skill, you don't have to stay in stealth.. if you know where the exit door is you can just run for it.. even throwing fire or smoke at the guards won't affect it.. as long as you don't physically KILL them, you're good. Sometimes going stealth takes forever so I just run through the levels and it levels up so quick lol

You can get away with 1 kill if the guard in question is a total pain otherwise move onto the next section. I've avoided many kills in my first playthrough by being sneaky.

It does not make sense to go for prudence on the first playthrough since you will be getting detected all the time and sucked into fights. Prudence will be easier on a subsequent playthrough when you have better skills.

I went with Prudence since it is the harder to avoid killing than killing. Trust me you'll be killing more on the second playthrough due to difficulty shift and the upgrades that carries over. Best to get that skill out of the way than do it last.

The 1st playthrough your not going to get all the skills. New game plus shifts the difficulty from what was on playthrough 1 to Ultimate (highest difficulty). Stealth is hard to do on that. That is why you stealth more on playthrough 1 until yoy max it out than do the rest.

The only way I know I'm in new game + is that my sling still has the double tap feature. When is everything gonna go back to how I left it in the last game? I had most of the upgrades.

I am going to say if done correctly about 1 and 3/4's of a playthrough. If not hope you can get the other 1-2 missing skills in playthrough 2. Chapter select can help you on chapter related through.

It is hard at first not to kill but once you get that out of the way, you just count the number of foes and than cut it in half or so to get the Opportunism one. The Aggressive one is easy to do. Thanks so much SerialPillock for stopping by.

Opportunism is the most annoying skill to level up, it makes no sense to kill a certain percentage like wtf?

You have to kill around the 50% range. I would say aim for half the foes for Opportunism on your first or second playthrough depending on where your at. Second playthrough helps since you do get your skill and item upgrades.

If there is 5 foes you want to kill two to be on the safe side. It is not what you use it is how many is on the board when you enter that door or escape the area. Found this out the hard way in New Game Plus and kept on getting Aggressive in that mode. Once I found out you only kill a few just enough to the game to register the area Opportunism. Than I tested it via this video and worked like a charm. Go for Prudence than Opportunism and worst case you can do this with ease on New Game Plus thanks to all the upgrades carry over.

I’m currently missing a total of 4 skill bars. Final 2 bars for prudence and final 2 bars for opportunism. Currently in NG+ at chapter 3-1. Do you think I’m able to maxed both of em by the end of my NG+ playthrough?

I was in the same situation as you except I did finish Prudence to 100%. It can be done so you want to aim for Prudence first since it is the hardest of the two. NG+ did carry me to Chapter 8 with all three at 100%. If you cannot than make another save file, play the game again at the lowest difficulty and get the two there.

Only advice on being sneaky is use a separate profile file and drop it to the lowest difficulty. Once that is done than try not to kill anyone and you will get the sneaky one 1/3 to 1/2 through the game.

Try for 0 to 1 kills depending on how many foes. If four don't kill anyone. If your having issues with being sneaky, than make another playthrough and drop it to the lowest difficulty. This will make sneaking around much easier.

How do you know how many enemies are in each area? Just kill them all and count, then before moving on reload the section?

That is one way to do it. Than use Chapter select and the subchapter you finished so this way you can try a different way of getting the skill you need. Chapter select is great in this game since it saves your stats before you start the area of stealth vs kill.

Prudence if you do it on Playthrough one on the lowest difficulty setting you can get that with ease. Was using that difficulty for collectibles. Just try to avoid killing if not 1 kill is alright unless tons of foes than 2 is the limit. I got that first than the other two.

If you do not want to start New Game plus than either go back to a few chapters and do the last skill until you get the trophy/achievement OR start a new file for just the skill your missing on the lowest difficulty. This is not missable due to the fact you have New Game plus with the highest difficulty to get the last skill(s) you need. Playthrough one can net you two skills if you know what your doing. Second one will cover the rest.

Does anyone know if rats kill count for prudence or opportunism? For example: I’m leveling prudence, I extinguish a torch held by a guard and rats come over him. Is it considered like a sling kill?

Using rats counts as a kill. As long as your trying to keep your kill count low for Prudence (1 or 2) or Opportunism (Up to 50%) than your ok to use the rats to kill.

It works like this, it will save over your progress if you do Chapter select. For example if you have in Chapter 3 if you have 2 in Prudence and 3 in Aggressive starting that chapter. Any other gain for example after the start will be saved over. Now if you do new game plus what you ended with carries over. So for example if you max out Aggressive and Opportunist than you need to work on Prudence to get that one done. So good idea to knock out Prudence and try for Opportunist so you can focus on killing your foes in New Game plus for Aggressive.

I was still able to level up the Opportunism while I was using up my alchemy to light braziers in the mission where they go to where Basilius died. Something came up in the corner of my screen saying that I got the skill "Nothing Lost"

Very cool and just keep on killing only half the foes and Opportunism should level it up like crazy. Nothing lost is the second ability you do get in Opportunism and your halfway there now to max it out.

It will overwrite them in playthrough 1. Playthrough 2 aka new game plus will resume the skills you are building up.

Here is the deal. All your upgrades will come with you. The items you get in the game is locked until you get them. Any upgrades with said items will stay. This means in NG+ you have one shot for that entire game to get the rest of the skills you need or else you have to use chapter select and aim for the skills you want until you get the trophy/achievement.

It suppose to be however it is percentage based. I tried the alchemy test for opportunism but if I go over say 50% kills than it shifts to the last one. So all three type of skills are percentage of how many you killed. The video explains all that.

For Prudence yes for the most part. That requires 0 to 1 kills. You can get detected but you want to not kill anyone really if your going for it. As long as your stealth you should get Prudence. Opportunism you want 2 to half the foes dead. You can kill some than stealth the rest. Aggressive no need for stealth, wipe out many as you can. These are really depending on number of kills to get like I said in the video.

I would do is try to stealth until you get the skill than go for opportunism next. Worst case make a new game with another save file than drop the difficulty to lowest to help with stealth

Here is what you are going to do. Try to avoid kills to escape. If large numbers are ok for one kill. Worst case, make a new profile to start the game on the lowest difficulty and stealth away.

It's kind of dumb that it's not actually programmed the way the game is asking you to play. Using alchemy to kill everyone should count as opportunism. It shouldn't matter how many people you kill. It's the method that should matter. I bet everyone had to look up this achievement because of the poor programming by Asobo

You suppose to use alchemy on certain set of kills but not it is percentage to level up one of the skills. I think they went the easy way out on this one.

Not killing was the toughest so I had to do that first on Narrative difficulty which made spotting foes detecting you 10000x series verse Ultimate difficulty aka New Game Plus. It was the Opportunism one was a pain since you had to count all the foes and only kill 40-50% of them to move on. Aggressive was stupid easy since it was about killing most or all the people in your path. Aggressive and Opportunism I did that on New Game Plus. As for the review I got the game free via Game Pass, I cannot do the review since I played it basically for free on that. Otherwise I would review it and give it a 10. A few buggy issues and at times controls were only issue while everything else is great.

Yes and no. Yes you can use chapter select in new game plus however it will reset the progress of the chapter to the point either you beat the game or a previous chapter. The first playthrough try to get stealth than the Opportunist done first so you can focus on finishing up Opportunist and Aggressive in new game plus. I did do this also on the first playthrough too I forgot to mention like I did in the video however my progress was reset to the point before that chapter when I reselect the chapter and section.

It is messed up at first but once you get used to stealthing more to maybe 50% stealth to finally screw stealth kill them all you can get the three skills up.

If you have issues with it I would do is do 3 separate profiles. Drop it to the lowest difficulty and just do one profile on full stealth than do another half kill and last but not least kill them all. This will avoid forcing you into the highest difficulty new game plus since they are alert as heck.

You can only reply one more time with new game plus. However it will shift to the highest difficulty in the game. Just remember that your skills from playthrough one does carry over.
