To be honest I played on Easy from the start. I remember the combat being a chore in the first game and I mainly wanted to play this one for the story. Even so, parts of it are still a real pain to get through, even on Easy.

The ability to recover bolts from bodies is almost essential for this chapter, the forced combat section at the end is a nightmare without it.

how tf do u unlock it the required materials is so much. Theres no way anyone can even get that many materials to craft it

@@ActiveGummy Are you searching around enough? I’ve had it for awhile now tbh. Supplies are rare, but not impossible to get a decent amount. Make sure to save knives & hunt for locked chests instead of assassinations. Good luck!

I completed this section with one bolt plus the bolt you can find in the level in the building under the archer. No ability to recover bolts. It's not essential.

@powerpyx when you tell sophia to reflect the light, you don't have to walk backwards. you can just walk forward like a normal person. walking backwards confused tf outta me

Ser everybody complaining. Pass this chapter was easy. No kills. Hardest part was the last guard before the gate. But If you wait in the right side(direction), for the right moment, you can pass without been notice.

You pretty much have to kill in this chapter. Going full stealth is almost impossible without luck

They're playing this on an easier difficulty. I'm on Normal and I'm having to fight through WAAAAAAY more enemies than this at the end. Gave up after 30 minutes. I'll try later.

Update: Crossbow doesn’t work; only pot clears path. I think its a bug

For some reason the pot that's supposed to be there by where you cross the first trench isn't and I don't have any and so nothing but the arrow puts the fire out but the isn't dissipating. So I can't walk across with the stick, and reflecting and walking backwards doesn't work either as Amicia will stop where the trench is and not go further. Even if I shoot the bolt, reflect and walk backwards to retrieve/recycle it, and then grab a stick she still gets frozen amd won't walk past the trench no matter what. So it would seem I'm totally stuck and have to reload through chapter select, hopefully that works.

This is stupid. I'm stuck in the same place too, it would help if there were any pots around but none. I can't believe this was overlooked. Was I supposed to not use pots this whole time? Who knew I would have to absolutely use a pot in that specific area or I would be stuck.

Lower difficulty for more item spawns

@@datboidego Boo. But I guess what you can do is quit the chapter, go into chapter select and choose the courtyard or whatever that little section is called, you spawn with at least one jar. I had 3 at that point so I spawned with 3.

I was actually able to just approach the portcullis near the end and a triangle prompt button came up for me to interact with the door, and we simply morphed through the gate, I didn’t have to raise it or anything😂

@@christian1329 yes. I guess you have to pass a specific route to open the door. You can’t open it whenever you want

Hey man, i came here with the same issue. So annoying. It can be bypassed but you have to fudge it. I shot an extinguisher bolt at the fence to put the fire out. Then go near the line with the stick. Wait for the dialouge "here we go" and then you can walk forward. Needs a patch though

somehow i figuered it out... i reload this part called "the yard" through chapter selection and after arriving i put the fire out with throwing the pot with (you know what), waited like ten seconds, lit the stick and i was able to cross... hope this helps sorry for bad english

Because this game is buggy as hell, this pot he collected at 36:26 simply wasn't there in my playthrough.

I absolutely hated this chapter. Very poorly designed. The combat sections here were terrible. I regret even playing this game....definitely not like the first.

It's such a departure from the first game. It feels like the developer freaked out at the unexpected success of the first game and they attempted to cram too much into the sequel and fumbled extremely hard. This game lacks focus and fails. The first game knew what it was and did it VERY well.

They failed to give stealth a viable choice, that game wouldn't have been so bad if they had made it more like a Tomb Raider 2012 and other games that Nixxes and Square Enix own too.
