@@dshen129 The mythic rares and the box toppers alone were $600. What do you mean they were not good? There were at least 20 $20 rares. thats another $400. Then you got all the uncommons and other playable cards for at least another $100. Solid $1100 box for $700. Sure most of the money was in the first box but even the second box didn't lose anything.

@@skotosman Are you using mtggoldfish prices? Those prices are inflated by 10 to 15 percent across the board. If you looked at actual retail prices from sites like TCGplayer and ebay sold/lowest price listings, you will get a better real world idea of the actual price. I went ahead and did that...here's all the following big hits: Demonic tutor box topper ($150) + Karn ($50) + 2x Snap ($100) + Cavern ($55) + EE foil ($32) + Phyrex Tower foil ($37) + Kozilek ($20) + Lavaclaw box topper ($20) = $464. This is BEFORE any ebay fees, tcg fees, or shipping costs. Maybe I missed a few cards that were worth something...but that guy would be very lucky to break even if he tried to sell these cards for a profit (keep in mind you'd have to take time and effort to sell these cards). $400 in just rares outside of the big mythic hits? Please do share what cards added up to $400.

@@dshen129 so if you take all of the rares worth $4-$5, mythics and box toppers and add in the few eternal witness and kitchen finks these two boxes hit about $620 tcg market price. So about $500ish ebay before fees. Maybe $400-$450 if they are lucky

I opened a NPH and Innistrad boxes once... foil batterskull in a pack with a regular batterskull. foil Lilly of the veil in a pack with a regular lilly of the veil. That was the last time I opened boxes, or boosters.
