Sandy, you and Colin did a great job with the camera. What a beautiful old church. They don't make them like that anymore. It was wonderful to see that old church and what is left of the town. Cheers!

Absolutely brilliant video. I’ve been to Tyneham a couple of times and it always stirs the emotions. I still feel for those families, who had to pack up their worldly possessions and leave their homes at such short notice. On a separate point, well done Colin for some amazing filming and commentary. I think Sandy needs to get you on the payroll.😀

Sandy, Colin did a fantastic job. He's a natural 😊 The reason that yourself and Colin are natural in front of the Camera is you're genuine down to earth people, not false. Therefore, on camera you don't have to change anything and we get to enjoy a great channel with no wannabe superstars or TV presenters. Don't change anything, Brilliant channel and what helps to make KZbin so good, well done Sandy👍🙂

I love this video Sandy. Those old buildings are so fascinating to me. I would probably wander around those things from dusk to dawn and still not see enough of them. It is so amazing that people are so willing to preserve such things for all to see. I appreciate those people so much for what they do. And thank you so much Sandy for being so willing to share the experience right along with you. And thank you to the brilliant professional and high tech camera wizard Collin! He is "one of a kind" I think. Have fun and stay healthy Sandy, I will see you on the next one.

A poignant illustration of what happens if a settlement tries to survive on a restricted diet of Baked Beans and Brussel Sprouts! Seriously though, I find your little investigations of lost settlents fascinating and obviously rather sad. P.S. Watch out for the competition Sandy. Colin may get a camera of his own one day!

Thank you Sandy for a very interesting video. I think it sad that the residents were not allowed to return after the war and did not receive compensation for their losses or an official apology. The petition in an attempt to redress these issues in 2012 only received 8 signatures.
