I actually found this event playing the After the Fall Mod, my daughter of a mormon kingdom turned into a polar bear which then converted into Ursuline christianity and then somehow changed her states culture to bear and then did bear crusades around americas. wtf this event is amazing.

You didn't *quite* become a crusading bear, you only get the Crusader title if you participate in the crusade alongside your army (as a commander) as opposed to sitting inside your castle eating everyone. Though knowing CK2 I'm sure you would still be considered trapped inside an english castle even while personally sieging down Jerusalem.
