I have such a high regard for Joel I had to watch even though I have seen dozens of these videos and have been to the farm. I am not a farmer I just believe in him. I am able to adopt one of his sayings "do things that take time not money"and it has made a big difference for me. I took a writing class at the U of Chicago and when I ran out of time I knocked out The Joelness of Joel like water from a faucet Thanks for posting your video.

You are welcome, thanks for the kind words. The credit goes to Joel for letting us shoot the video.

Great video, thank you to both of you. I might be missing something but surely the subscription/membership model being discussed here is just a CSA scheme, which are pretty well established. I also know of a protein farmer in the UK who presells her herd at the start of the season which guarantees you've bought what you need from the harvest. Seems like a good model for both farmer and customer.

How do you know what animals follow what animals? We have 8 goats, 2 horses, kune kune pigs, chickens, rabbits. How big does each pen need to be ? How often do i move everyone? How many days do they all need to be off the first pen you started on?

From listening to Joel I kinda think it depends on the pressure the animals put on the land.
