on point. their sound is probably the most enjoyable i've ever heard, every single instrument is so well balanced, it's insane. been listening to them for a year and am proud to say that i was with them before they became a tik tok trend. when i started listening to them they had like ~150k monthly listeners on spotify and now they stand at about 10 times more. and all because of hells comin with me which was from the very beggining my fav song from them, although all their popular ones were really good i knew this one stands out a bit more. feed the machine and give and take are right next to it tho. just my opinion

Quick question: I'm a little young for all kinds of music, and I'm still learning my genres. Based on what I learned, this doesn't really feel like country? It's more refined and high-quality than all of the other things I've been told is country. This feels more... old? Wild west like? It doesn't have the lyrics of some redneck who's addicted to their truck, but a lot more of a story that's purposefully constructed. I heard some people call it more folk and western, is that a subdivision of country or something similar under a major umbrella they share?

I love this playlist, but they build such a good visual; With blending, plus dialogue and visuals, I would be thoroughly convinced (and pleased to see) that these songs are written, for a movie, or something :) “Crown Vic headlights” as a moment of desperation and sadness after the song “pressure cracks”, when he realizes his lover is a cheat. “Providence”, and then “change” as the character realizes the issues in society “Feed the machine” and “give and take” for the revolution plans, and gathering of the resistance “Fathers lament”as he talks to his children in a rare moment of peace before the chaos happens. ( or at the end if it’s a happy ending ) “Black sheep” as he confronts a member of this tight night resistance, who has been telling the enemy where they are, ( how they were first found in “give and take”) “Hells coming with me” as he returns to the place he once called home, in the broken society he was raised. The town is Burt to the ground, and he and his two sons flee to the woods. The movie ends as they hike through the woods, with soot streaked faces, breathing heavily, ( the youngest is sniffleing) occasionally looking back at the wreckage of the city, with sirens blaring and a blazing sky. The credits roll.
