This is what i like to see, behind the scenes, how it was put together, the lighting , filters used , the story, from both sides ,photographer, and the film maker. am no pro, but this in my opinion is excellent work.

The more I learn about photography, the more I gravitate towards artists/tutors that focus (no pun intended) more on story than gear. If I have to wait another year for a video like this, I'm all for it. Great job!

What a great video, skilfully and artistically done, educative, informative, almost interactive as interactive on youtube can be! Learning various setups and and effects in a studio environment is fantastic. Well done to both of you guys and respect to the bride, took a lot for her, thank her on behalf of your viewers please, i’m sure that I speak for many of them. Oh, one more thing, one day I will own a Leica, today I own a S1R, loved your comparison, hopefully one day i’ll have the skill to produce as wonderful images as yours. 📸
@TommyReynolds893 жыл бұрын
Andrew thats such a cool you've interpreted this video, I really like that. I just wanted to give people the most amount of context as possible. i will defintely pass on your regards to Hazel too, no worries. Dude the S1R is a beautiful camera. I much prefer that camera to the Leica :)

I'd love to see the same picture with and without using the Tiffin. Stunning work!!! What camera gear combo did you shoot this video with? It's beautiful, color, clarity, warmth... I don't know, the quality/look of this video is just steps above a lot of other's I see.

Great video. I Have to say i have had nothing but problems trying to shoot tethered with Leica. Even though they say you can. I ended using phase and worked perfectly through capture. Digitech was happy his headaches and anxiety were gone hahah

Admittedly we did run into a couple of glitches too. Phase one no problem you’re 100% right 🙂 thank you for watching dude !

oh man tommy i love your work, for me you are my absolute idol. can i ask you something, are you doing a test shooting before the real shootings, so you know how exactly how to set your light before the main shooting?
@TommyReynolds893 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much dude, and great question. I dont have the time to do test shooting in a new location, but I will at least see the location beforehand. So Mike and I saw the location and planned the setups and blocked our movements. I just have to hope that my ideas in my head actaully work on a camera. But seeing the location beforehand defintely helps!

Hey Tommy. I love your work and checked in periodically for this series. I know it’s a lot of effort but with such a lack of quality channels on KZbin there might be an opportunity here. Maybe if you have a Patreon account we could pay for to get access to more regular content of this quality you and your team can invest more time into these passion projects. Just a thought and thank you for the inspiring work.

Heya Jeff, thank you so much for checking in from time to time, its always good to have you here. Thats a pretty neat idea dude, I've also been looking at Buy Me A Coffee? Not sure if you've heard of this one but its real similar :)

Great work, Tommy. I really enjoy the human element in your videography and inspired me to start looking into video-ing my personal process. Oh, could you include sizes of your light modifiers in terms of inches as well? Us Americans aren't too bright when referencing metric.

Tommy, please don't use that awful expression "the talent" when referring to your model or subjects. Use their name or even "the model". It's quite frankly insulting. A dreadful Americanism that is slipping into the English language. They of course simply don't know any better.
@TommyReynolds893 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t loose any sleep over it magic Mumford. It’s not insulting, nor a big deal
@dan_s_higginson4 жыл бұрын
The fact you refer to this as a product suggests it's not personal work. Who are you doing this for, you or us? If it's for you, then don't devalue your art by talking about it like it should make money for you.
@TommyReynolds894 жыл бұрын
Hey Dan, you’re right. Product was definitely the wrong choice of words. I think ‘package’ is what I meant and probably a better word to describe what I was trying to convey. I didn’t mean it to come across as something I’m making money from because I’m 100% not. I paid for all of this from my own pocket because it was something I just wanted to do, and felt I had to do :) not product, just a package of different arts in one 🙂 Thanks for the feedback Dan
