”A Portrait of Time" Painting process Part3 preparation

This is the painting process of the work "A Portrait of Time" that I created for the IBEX Collection Master Piece Project over the three years from 2016 to 2019. I will publish the whole process of completing this painting in several parts.

Falta miel de caña para flexibilidad y además vinagre u otro líquido para qué no le afecten los gusanos . Un saludo

Otro día diré un producto químico pero en este momento no me viene el nombre a mi mente. Y si le añaden leche de higuera mucho mejor. Es una goma emulsionada que se debió usar desde ek Renacimiento. Se añadía al temple de cola animal. Ni es caseina procedente de la leche animal qye se usaba al trabajar al fresco. He trabajado también esa y mil técnicas. No cuento más por hoy. La preparación que han visto es grasa y el huevo da elasticidad pero tiene una pega cin el tiempo tirará a quebrar y a desprender. Deben hacerlo o darlo en finas capas retirando sobrante muy penetrante en el tejido.

El propósito de la yema agregada a esta pintura es ayudar a emulsionar, no a pegar. Eso es solo una pequeña cantidad. Además, es posible hacer pintura en emulsión sin usar necesariamente yema de huevo. Incluso si usa solo pegamento de conejo, tiene un efecto emulsionante suficiente. Hice una gran cantidad de pintura de emulsión en este video, así que agregué yema de huevo por si acaso para evitar la separación del aceite.

@@ruedesilly Se muy bien lo de la yema y en el momento que usa linaza y yema. Esta con el temple graso y sus preparaciones. El magro es diferente.

@@ruedesilly soy mayor y he tenido grandes maestros. Pero algunas veces se me olvidan recetas. Y cosas que he practicado. Sabías lo de la leche de higuera. Alumbre. Vinagre para hacer un blanco plomo venenoso y tóxico pero con cualidades diferentes a los otros blancos creo recordar distinguimos o distinguen hasta 2000 colores blancos diferentes pero no soy esquimal. Lástima me hubiese gustado mucho ser esquimal y haber conocido a Rembrandt o en el Renacimiento.. saber usar la ceniza en otras técnicas o preparar el color aunque lo he aprendido pero no lo práctico mucho. El tener edad se convierte en ser cómodo. No estoy en el Renacimiento y el pintor está solo frente a uba fotografía o recuerdos e ideas ya ni modelos podemos pagar. Éxitos

Здравствуйте! Я думаю Вам не стоит тратить время на изготовление подрамник в. Грунтовать и проклеивать холст да.но на подрамник и.. Мне кажется Вам нужно творить.а не тратить время на деревяшки...

The white pigment used in this preparation is chalk. However, chalk becomes slightly transparent in paints that contain oil. If you want whiteness by preparation, adding a small amount of Titanium White is effective. I don't remember if I added Titanium White in this video. Because this was done over 5 years ago. Hahaha ... But maybe I added a very small amount of titanium white.

@@ruedesilly Thank you for your answer! I make a very thin layer of Terra di Pozzuoli together with chalk and rabbit glue which forms a very hard ground, and after that I make a thick layer of rabbit glue, chalk, zinc white, crushed charcoal, egg-yellow and a small amount of white flour, then mix in linseed oil varnish, which is cheap and fast-drying.

Wonderful, inspiring content. Question: how long does your oil ground take to dry? I've only used Winsor and Newton oil ground but want to make my own. W&N had alkyd, which has lots of fumes.

Since this is an emulsion ground, it dries to the touch the next day due to the evaporation of water. However, the oily component contained in the paint takes a little longer to dry, so it is better to dry it sufficiently. I usually do multiple preparations at once, so I have plenty of time to dry.
