Thanks so much for downloading all of these songs for us 'Angels' fans everywhere! I actually have this album but it is NOT in great shape. This is my all-time favorite movie and I am 68. I remember the scene in this beloved movie when this song was played. The late Jerry Goldsmith was BRILLIANT in producing this memorable soundtrack.

My pleasure. I'm 67 and this movie has important to me since I first saw it when it first came out. It has seemed to touch many people in very deep ways - and Jerry Goldsmith's score definitely is a major part of it. And I agree about this scene - it's one of the most moving to me, and the music is perfect for it.

@@loge10 GREAT comments and thanks for sharing! I agree with everything you said very well. And YES, a GREAT soundtrack like this makes this beloved movie even more memorable. (Another all-time favorite of mine, "Summer of '42," also had a GREAT soundtrack by Michel Legrand that won an Academy Award.) I will always regret never getting to see this 'Angels' movie on the big screen when it came out in my hometown of San Jose, CA. My aunt took my sisters to see it, though. Lucky them! However, I did see the sequel in 1968 and was VERY disappointed with it in so many ways. KZbin has that full movie but not the original anymore. There used to be a website dedicated to the movie and it was an excellent one but I can no longer find it which is unfortunate. Anyhow, I wrote to June Harding in 2007 (via regular mail) about her WONDERFUL performance in the movie and to my joyful amazement, she actually wrote back to me thanking me for my compliments about her in the movie. She also added some thoughts about making the movie and just LOVED every moment of it! This letter (in her LOVELY calligraphy writing) means even more to me now since we lost June in 2019 at the age of 81. Just so sad that Hollywood never offered her more movie roles since she was such a talented actress. I told her that NO Hollywood actress at that time could have played the part of "Rachel" better than her and that made her happy. I also went to a Catholic grammar school for 8 years and the nuns in this movie reminded me of the Presentation Sisters who taught us so well. This is another reason why this movie touches my heart like NO OTHER ever will! Just so many touching scenes in this movie to forever cherish (especially when Sister Liguori died). Finally, how did you download this lovely soundtrack on KZbin with GREAT sound? Maybe from the soundtrack album you have in GREAT condition? My album is in lousy shape but I still cherish the music and memories! Cheers from New Mexico!

@@DougCelesteA beautiful comment and story. I'm totally with you on June Harding's performance. The depth and vulnerability she brought to her character really added to the movie's richness. Very glad to hear she had such a good experience making the movie.

@@loge10 Thank you for your reply and for your kind comments. Much appreciated and glad you enjoyed my story. I am VERY happy that this movie is now back on YT for free viewing. YAY!!!! Just wish that the wonderful website for this movie would come back since it was that good and 'Angel' fans like me LOVED visiting it. And I really LOVED your comments here about June's performance which I totally agree with. How sad that she did not get other roles in Hollywood since she was such a FINE actress in so many ways like what we saw in "The Trouble With Angels." I am so happy that I was able to tell her how much I LOVED her performance after I found out how to contact her. And her notecard to me with her cherished memories in her LOVELY calligraphy handwriting means even more to me now that she has passed on. She and Hayley were just so MAGICAL in their performances together. Take care!
