Unice body wave 20" but I cut it. I usually wear Mayvenn hair but haven't been to the salon (because of Rona) to get my hair done in a while. I keep it in a tight bun so that it stays fluffy with body when brushed down to avoid heat. That's it. Nothing special! :)

So I literally had a training on MUFE today from a MUFE brand rep at work (Sephora). Primers with MUFE are tricky, especially if it’s hydrating. Moisturizer. Setting powder. Concealer. Powder. Setting powder. Fixing spray. Setting spray.

As old as dirt as I am, I STILL manage to learn so much from you! I've always applied my powder foundations (NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat) with a brush but I should definitely try applying it with a SPONGE! I'm definitely NOT a matte girl (don't let the title of the powder fool you - it's really not THAT matte but I love the way it leaves my skin!) - but with this look of yours and applying a DEWY setting spray, I do believe I can achieve a flawless look like yours! What's funny is powder foundation is what's recommended for people with dry skin. I like the Laura Gellar Baked Balanced & Brighten color correcting foundation. I've even used the Sephora microsmooth as my powder b4. But, I've been wanting that MUFE powder for a while now.

I am obsessed with this foundation! MUFE makes such spot-on shades. I love swiping this on for days that I’m in a hurry. I love that my cream bronzer and blush blend easily on top too. Crossing my fingers they never discontinue this epic foundation.

I have combo/dry & hydrate before powder. It definitely makes a difference in the longevity of my makeup. Also hit it with setting sprays. I like the extra sleep in the AM so powder foundation has been my go to for a fast, but snatched look. I use Makeup Forever, Too Faced Born this Way.

Girl!! You are the bomb! So I’d recently purchased the same MUF powder foundation used in your video in my last Spring Sephora haul. I’d only used it once with a brush and thought the coverage was just ok. BUT LISTEN!!...when you said you used a sponge. I went back and used the same techniques and omg! It made a huge difference. I love love love how it came out, the coverage and the matte finish I got. Absolute game changer for me. THANK YOU! I never thought to use a sponge on powder foundation since I’d just recently decided to give powder a chance. And the MUF is a must have product. It’s really good if anyone is on the fence about it.

My favorite powder is the Mac Mineralized Skin Finish. I have very dry skin and I find that the Mac powder works for me because it doesn't have a matte finish. So girls with dry skin, as long as you stick with powders that don't have a matte finish, you are good to do the powder foundation routine. Another powder that I enjoy for my dry skin is the BareMinerals Original Foundation Powder and before Makeup Forever discontinued their Pro Finish powder, it was a good one for dry skin as well. I love to do my powder routine when I need something quick to get out of the door. I prefer powder when I'm getting ready for work.

H Sassyk I used to have the same problem. Could be your skincare. Sometimes over-mattifying your face can make you oilier as your skin is trying to find balance. I incorporated more moisture during my skincare routine and I no longer have that problem!

I'm dry and maturing skin just turned 42. I use nivea in the glass jar and elf putty on my oil areas and baby soft under my powder and the ones are I love are the kiss acne cover, black radiance soft focus, matte and poreless and the loreal fresh wear is good but my favorite is the kiss and black radiance ones.

Urban Decay has really good powders! I like the Maybelline Superstay one also for when I want a cheaper option. It’s very similar to the Urban decay.

Thank you for putting me onto this foundation. I have not tried powder foundation in years. I used to use the L’Oréal true match foundation but it was so flaky. My skincare is better now and I will definitely moisture more. Great tips!

Happy Friday & Happy Juneteenth. I have a couple of powders- too faced born this way, cover fx,- got it for $9 during a boxy pop up/add on, bare minerals and Estée Lauderdale. I have dry skin and the powders work well after moisturizing. I like the powder foundations when it’s warm out if I have to wear makeup. I’m usually a minimalist during the hot months. Tfs #BLM

Hey girl hey! Clearly you read my mind with this video lol. Since you made me get this powder which is now my fav 🤦🏾‍♀️, I wanted to try it just as a foundation (wearing masks is stopping me 🤣). My fav drug store powder is from the maybelline infallible line. I've also been loving using Mented's peach for the stars blush as a highlighter and Fenty's summertime wine as a blush (still have to try fuego flush). Try a matte setting spray like urban decay, morphe, or the ulta matte setting spray. It helps to keep the powder foundation from moving.
