Andrew Budson, MD, Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, explains a new resource for HCPs caring for dementia patients. The latest edition of his practical guide teaches clinicians how to evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with memory loss. There are also comprehensive explanations of the various causes of memory loss and how to manage the key symptoms of these conditions, including possible lifestyle changes for patients. The guide also exlains how to use a variety of diagnostic tests, including PET scans and lumbar punctures, to develop the best course of treatment for a patient. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology 2022 Congress in Seattle, WA.
