He just sits there and says something along the lines of I told you so. He always wanted to be better then me. There is so much more small things I have been noticing from his manipulation. I can go on for hours. I been saying he was possessed but today it was clear as day. I can't describe it. God thank you for showing me who is my enemy. Remember the only one twisting your arm to use is Satan. U can choose. Ask Jesus to take away your cravings and he will. I prayed for this many times and one day I realized my cravings had been removed. I often have a hard to believing it was a disease because to me that was the devils lie so tear I would use it as an excuse. Sinning once or twice is not the problem. The problem is when we continue to practice the same sin over and over it opens a oor for Satan to come into your life and become a stronghold in your mind. Then he is driving the bus of your mind to get u to destroy your life. We become on auto pilot and dont even think of the consequences of our addition. A demon spoke to me in my mind and said that they were "driving the bus", and i was on the background watching. He makes us forget. He lies to us telling us the more we use the better the effect will be. We self medicate trying to drown out some emotional pain in our lives. It took a while but then the holy spirit would let me know when the enemy was attacking my mind and i was able to cut him off at the pass before he was finished trying to get me to use. The holy spirit has made me acutely aware of when he is doing something in my mind to manipulate me. When I am tempted to use, one of the best things to do is make yourself busy like go shopping or clean out a closet or go for a nice walk. When you are tempted to use. Say out loud Satan get behind the and u I rebuke you Satan in Jesus name. He will continue to come back just keep repeating it. I totally believe that we cannot conquer our addiction without God's help. The revelations that the holy spirit gives me I could not have the intelligence to think of these things myself. It makes the enemy very angry when he knows of these occurances. Joyce Meyer sermons on youtube are excellent when to talks about the devil. She has a good sense of humor too. I will pray for you and I would appreciate if you would pray for me. Jesus said that "you will be attacked be the enemy because of me". He didn't say maybe attacked or if but that you will be. Once you accept the Lord onto your life. We are then the enemy of Satan. He will continue to attacks us for the rest of our lives. But I believe that's a small price to pay for eternal salvation. It's even a smaller price then what Jesus paid for our sins on the cross. One of the most frequent lies he tells Christians is that they are not worthy or righteous enough for God to overcome. Never believe this. He will also make you feel so guilty and ashamed of our sins that we find ourselves hiding from the word of god..read read read pray pray pray. Jesus said never stop praying.
