Before the pandemic, in my country, 90% of candidates with a small Unity project will land a job at any game studio. The main player only requires to move around, jump, and have the ability to eat apples around the map. Now, even with a complete multiplayer game on Steam, it's still hard to get a job. The job market is flooded with casual mobile game development. Companies only want to hire super-skilled interns with ICPC backgrounds who accept low payment to spill out a casual game every two weeks.

We both started with 3Ds Max (I started-98). Both are metalheads and collect knives (I collect also balisongs). Both are old as fuck, handsome and sexy. And most of all both love to sculpt.

Most of the work over the next four years will focus on stylized art, with some projects using the Brawl Stars art style, while others will follow the Fortnite art style. The contracts will be full-time and fully remote. Could you also suggest what salary range is typical for these skills? We've noticed quite a variance in compensation, with some companies offering up to 80% more for the same level of talent and experience, even within the same country.

Everything is variable, so you have to research the range and decide where to sit with the salaries. Also depending from where the applicants are, their salary preferences can be vastly different. Its normal someone from Germany to ask far more than someone from India for example.
