Angela, this is just lovely! One would never know that it was designed as it is in order to use up scraps. The gorgeous lace paper and others that were used to fill up the bottoms of the quadrants look like this was quite intentional! I do love it when creativity meets up with practicality to make something amazing! Also lovely to see how you used those clever scrappy bits we watched you make to bring some pizzazz to the panels. Altogether a delightful addition to our journals! I am eagerly waiting for the release of your next kit. Although I am eager for spring time blooms (mid-winter here in the Rockies), I am confident that whatever you have in store for us next will be beautiful and fun. I finally got to watch this one. Very apt using baking paper in your baking Journal. I was calling out loudly that you had forgotten to tuck the flip out in behind the paper. I'm so glad you were able to fix it. My glue volcano's out of the bottle also. Mainly when it's getting close to empty, which is strange. I love this idea, thank you.♥️

Oh yes, the sound is amazing. It adds to the whole journal and of course, I love that it was baking paper, so sort of fits the theme. I was thinking darn it I just got my parchment in from Amazon and it is white. But then inspiration struck and I remembered I purchased some wax sandwiches bags from a discount store for the heck of it. Now they are for the craft table. Thanks

Dear Jeanna, so pleased you are going to try this project. Re white parchment can be coloured with your distress oxide. It’s only the edges that will show. Just check first, that if you use the wax paper that the glue will adhere to it. You could always see each panel. Most things meant for the kitchen end up on my craft tab too! Yay! Love the use of baking paper- I also purchased one just for crafting when you did a tutorial using it way back when. Also love the idea of using up scraps for this and the fussy cutting. Can I just say that topography is the study of how the land and s formed - hills and valleys and the word you were perhaps looking for was calligraphy?? I must need to try using the art glitter glue because I have tried others and the paper falls off of the baking paper unless you sew it on…just love that crinkle sound of parchment …this is so pretty 💕

Loved this as a stand alone. Maybe your neighbor needs a new Hoover? That is why she takes so long to get it cleaned. They are so expensive now a days you want to use every bit of it up. Does she have lots of kids? We don’t have kids or animals. So I only do it once a week. I trained my husband not to drop things.
