I was in China as an international student. Once I went to a Muslim restaurant and entered with a salam. Back then I couldn't speak Chinese much but just that one salam enough to give him my identity. He was too happy that didn't take any money for our food. even though we have too many differences, he said we are Muslim brothers. That was an unforgettable experience for me. No matter who are you, we have only one identity, we are Muslim. That's the beauty of ISLAM.

I remembered way back in Lagos. We went for the Nigerian Air force recruitment, when it was night, the applicants who were Christians went to the church to pass the night but were not given hospitality while the mosque was left open for both christians and all to pass the night. Alhamdulillahi for the gift of Islam. Till today , wherever I travel to, the first place I find for hospitality is the mosque.

I'm a converted from Catholic to Islam, there was a time I was having an Iftar with my colleagues at work so they invited me to go Mosque to pray and have Iftar , then there was a Christian guy joined us. No one bothers to ask him they saw he just ate and after just go outside for whole Ramadan. But I'm he only one is confused and ask my colleagues that who is that and he replied " He"s a Christian and he just came from vacation so he don't have enough money so he eats here so he can save for dinner " and I was amazed because everyone was thoughtful to him . And that time I was really sure I will never regret my decision.

And provide for us; and You are The Most Charitable of providers." 5-115 Allah said, "Surely I am sending it down upon you; so, whoever of you hereafter disbelieves, then surely I will torment him with a torment wherewith I do not torment anyone of the worlds." 5-116 And as Allah said, "O Isa son of Maryam, (Jesus son of Mary) did you say to mankind, "cTake me and my mother to your selves as two gods, apart from Allah '?" He said, All Extolment be to You! In no way is it for me to say what I have no right to. In case I ever said it. then You already know it. You know whatever is within my self, and I do not know what is within Your Self; surely You, Ever You, are The Superb Knower of the Things Unseen. 5-117 In no way did I say to them (anything) except whatever You commanded me (saying), "Worship Allah, my Lord, and your Lord." And I was a witness over them, as long as I was among them; then as soon as You took me up, You, Ever You, have been The Watcher over them, and You are Ever-Witnessing over everything. 5-118 In case You torment them, then surely they are Your bondmen; and in case You forgive them, then surely You, Ever You, are The Ever-Mighty, The Ever-Wise." 5-119 Allah said, "This is the Day the sincere ones will profit by their sincerity (Literally: their sincerity will benefit the sincere "ones"). For them are Gardens from beneath which Rivers run, eternally (abiding) therein forever. Allah is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him. That is the magnificent triumph." 5-120 To Allah (belongs) the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them; and He is Ever-Determiner over everything.

It was strange then to hear someone greeted me with Assalamualaikum in the middle of the street in the evening, a brother was helping me searching the accommodation i was searching for, or a half drunken native spend almost an hour in the middle of the red light district to find the mosque i wanted to pray to or a native who suddenly carried my huge heavy luggage up 3 stairs while i was in pain carrying it, or a hijab lady shouting from a far just to remind me of un-halal foodcourt around. And all the time i wore my hijab! I prayed for those kind people that Allah will give them abundant rewards and hope to be able to do the same...

I had a pastor friend Pastor Paul he lives in Abuja and then I was a banker @ Maiduguri. I and pastor Paul embarked on journey from Maiduguri to Abuja while he was on a mission in Maiduguri, the journey was rough to do bad roads and we arrived Abuja late and he asked me if I could pass a night in his locality I said why not, I entered his church he has a house attached to the church his wife gave me food and I requested a water for ablution and they gave me I ask if I should be allowed to pray and granted. I prayed my night prayer and slept in the church in the morning I continue my journey and peace. I would never forget such kind gesture from that Man of God family and since then my perception to religion changes for good.

african people were enslaving their own people same as the rest of humanity were enslaving theirs .muslims were involved in the african slave trade centuries before the western nations became involved .the majority OF african males taken by muslim were castrated and multitudes of them died as a result .the women were used as sex slaves. THEV western countries became involved far later and those enslaved by the west were used for commercial agricultural labour .the males were not castrated on the whole and the women were not used as sex slaves .in fact they were allowed to marry and have children and so many survived in the west and would eventually become citizens of the western countries they were enslaved in,unlike those who went to UNHOLY islamic countries. further it was western countries that ended the slave trade .Britain using it sea power actively set about to abolish FILTHY ENSLAVEMENT TRADE .Britain used its money ,power ,navy,to ensure it was abolished .Christians were the first to take steps to end the SLAVE TRADE .❤
