I've mentioned this before but it bears repeating, one thing I learned from Greg Gutierrez about spots and largemouth is that, when the sun comes out in the winter, they'll often move into warm shallow water with direct facing sunlight on northern facing shorelines to feed, and they'll often move up with and down according to the sunlight.

Big bass are rare in the winter, and the one Spotted bass Greg caught was close to four pounds, and you'll catch a 100 of the one pounders to find one 3-4 lb. Spot... @@Kiomanche

Winter fishing is great due to lack of recreational boat/jets ski traffic. But, it’s especially great for me as I’m wanting to learn how to fish reservoirs and gives me a stress free time (from the other elements I mentioned) to really focus. Godspeed for 2024 tourney season. It’s going to be a good one.

Berryessa Slam, coffee and Taquitos - woohoo! Greg, I'm not sure how you manage to find the calm, serene days to fish. It looked like a perfect moment on the water, plus hooking and snagging healthy fish was awesome! It's wonderful to see that they've been eating well (there's no fun in catching anorexic bass!) and will help maintain another generation of healthy bass. Thanks for taking us on the lake; our club is gearing up to begin a new season in February on Clearlake. Fingers crossed that my dropshot proves successful - best of luck with your tournaments 😊

The mega 360 can be switched from 360 to side scan. 360 is great when you're stationary or moving very slowly, but is useless when moving quickly from place to place. Take advantage of the side scan function. I watch all of your posts.

Yep, looked like a great day to be fishing. Greg, I wanted to ask your thoughts on the 360 seat. I noticed it looked like you had it in the locked position. Does it make a difference whether it's locked or unlocked as far as your preference. Also do you ever use braid line to fluorocarbon leader or are all of your rods using straight fluorocarbon? Thanks again for the great video !!!!!

great question. I put a 360 seat on but even took off the rotating/locking mechanism. This kayak is so short that there's no need to have a rotating seat and it felt more familiar compared to my previous kayak. That said I think if and when I get a 12.5 that 360 seat will be a must

Great question. The 360 has been huge and more than I expected with regard to not only detail but how much I'm actually using and referencing it. Honestly I'm still getting used to the DI/Sonar images that are on the left graph. I've been playing with the settings and I think it's just a matter of getting my brain programmed to what everything really looks like. I can tell though this will be a big improvement for me in just knowing whats under and around me and when/if I don't have it feel like I'm missing a sense
