@@EricHe I’m applying to the Sociology PhD program. They also offer a dual Soc with Labor Studies master. My only concerns are with the occasional reported incidents that you read about regarding certain people not wanting certain people to be there. But I can overcome anything. Just need to find my crowd and thrive amongst like minds.

hi! could you tell us how much does renting a room or a flat costs at UMASS? You can move aroun campus by bike?

Hi, there’s a bunch of off campus housing including houses, apartments and condos. Some are further than others but a lot of kids use the bus system if they aren’t too far and a lot also drive (houses have parking spots). People do off campus bc it can be cheaper and there’s more freedom and comfort but leases tend to be one year (so you pay for the summer months). Hope this helped.
