I really appreciate the chance to see another woman writer navigating daily life in a mindful manner. Your quiet nature and the beauty of the surroundings are the best.

I figure the staff at the chain cafes still need their wages to pay their bills. Me - "whys she looking at a helmet? Ohh, its a lamp " 😂

I just wanted to add that if I'm going for a leisurely coffee somewhere & taking a book to read for example, I will usually choose a larger chain coffee shop if there is one because I don't feel as guilty for taking up the space for a long time & probably only having one drink. In a smaller coffee shop, as lovely as that might be, I'm conscious/wary/guilty of only buying one drink & being there for say an hour & possibly other potential customers needing my space. So don't feel guilty for going in larger chain coffee shop some of the time! Also, keep thinking of the lamp as a mushroom!!

First, I found you on Substack and really enjoy your videos! They’re peaceful and perfect and I just what I need. Second, I appreciate how you support local businesses and charity shops, but I do not believe you should apologize for going to chains or purchasing new! We are all doing the best we can and are experts in our own lives and environments. Do what works for you and I will continue to follow along! I love supporting small businesses (and owned one for 7 years) but also have gift cards to chains and believe it would be wasteful to not use them. Thank you, again, for your content! (From New Mexico, USA)

I think it is better going to a chain cafe if you are intending to work. Independent cafes are often smaller and by using a table for a long period of time if you do not continue purchasing food/ drink whilst you are there may have a negative affect on their business. But I don't mind a chain losing out on a few sales!

That final snow scene is stunning ! Re chipped china, I can't handle that, from an aesthetic POV or from a hygienic POV. I haven't bought new china in decades, it does come from charity shops and there seems to be a never ending supply of it here in Australia. But that applies only to me, if you like chipped china then that is your call :) I will make a potato & lentil soup this week, I have a gap in my menu planner for the week. Cheers

Thank you for sharing this video! It's lovely to see videos from you again! The last scene with the snow is absolutely stunning 😍 Molly, I know you quit social media a while ago, and I'm trying to quit them, too. So I was wondering whether you could share about your journey and how you managed to ditch it for good, for some extra inspiration?😊 Thank you in advance!

Another awesome vlog Molly. I am more productive like yourself in the morning but when I am at college I have had to force myself to be productive in the afternoon to pass the assessments. I have 2 that have to be handed in this week. I haven't had much snow in my part of Scotland but it could still happen yet. Thanks 👍 for sharing what you do during the week while working. Love 🥰 the vlog and love 💞 Molly.

You had me laughing about the lamp, "Clearly, this is a very important decision." So, I thought that it looks like a mushroom - first thought, and the second, was that it looks like a little soldier... and right after I thought it, you said it. 😂 For the cereal dishes, you have so many amazing shops over there (UK) with handmade things, like your mugs... don't they have handmade cereal dishes? If you just need two, I'd splurge and get two that are made by one of your stellar artists over there. By the way, I noticed all your mugs are missing from the kitchen area, or at least they were during a few takes: where are the mugs? 🕵️ xx ☺️

A gorgeous vlog Molly, as always. You are one of three of my favourite channels, alongside Roaming Wild Rosie and Rewilding Jude. Every Monday morning (I’m in Tasmania, Australia) I look forward to having my coffee while watching your vlog before I start work. I have followed you for a couple of years but have only recently been able to comment as I hadn’t set up my account correctly. I just wanted you to know that you have inspired me so much over those years. My husband and I currently live in suburbia but have bought some land to ultimately build our own tiny home and live off grid. Although it has always been a dream, that dream really became a reality after watching your vlogs. We realised that we could achieve it by living frugally. You even inspired me to try going vegan! I lasted for 2 months in 2023 but then Christmas came and it all fell apart. TLDR: just wanted to tell you, you have inspired me in many ways and I truly appreciate your content. Thank you so much! 🥰

Hi Molly, really interesting to see how you plan your day out. Do you do your household chores, laundry, cooking at the weekend? Did you experiment by doing some chores in the morning or at the end of each day to see what routine suited you? I appreciate you live in a small home but the chores will still be the same. Do you have a laundry room or a place to dry and air clothing, sheets etc? Many women I know have found household chores and cooking etc to be very time consuming and have found it limits their time to work and be creative.
@hippyhighlandliving11 күн бұрын
It can be tricky, but I try and keep on top of chores through the week and then do a dedicated hour or two on either a Friday or Sunday. Laundry we dry on airers that tend to move around the home!

Hey Molly you shouldn’t have to make excuses for going to a chain cafe! Chains employ local people who spend their money locally and contribute to the local economy - so even going to a chain supports your local community 👍

Molly, one more question please Does ur clothes ever catch mold due not having enough sun and air? Have u experience it? I am going to shift soon on a 1st floor house and have a balcony which is closed but it has windows though.

Mollie, I love watching your videos, but please please when you are editing could you leave on an extra second where you chop something out, because it feels like you never ever take a breath. And it can be exhausting trying to watch - especially for me from an older generation. You are so good with your content and your inspiration, but please slow down a bit?

Maybe if you put more gaps into your editing. The times that you don’t say anything is as important as when you do…makes things easier to listen to and understand, a bit like punctuation if you like.
