I appreciate how you talked about personal accountability. One will never see improvement until they are willing to walk though the sludge before they reach the green pastures. Learn to be content being alone, develop hobbies and goals. Even as simple as putting the laundry away.

I'm not a huge fan of commenting on the superficial, but I gotta... You're super lovely without makeup. It is refreshing to see someone with a fresh face just doing their thing. (No shade on makeup wearers either. Man, you're right. It is hard to say anything nowadays lol)

Hi Kelly...I've been so encouraged and more happy in my life since following your channel. I'm one who's also fascinated with the culture of Japan and food. You're right about change especially as we age. I've noticed myself becoming more of an introvert now in my 40's. I just have less patience now with drama from my own family members and close friends. LoL 😂 "Me" time and being alone like you like to do is very recuperating and refreshing! We need that time to reflect on ourselves and determine what strength we need to enhance and what weaknesses we need to improve on. Thanks Kelly for being a blessing. Btw...your vlog editing is so creative and beautiful. 💝

I have been watching ur videos for a while now, I find them very relaxing personally, I have to say it's great that you are speaking out, I am very often see many KZbinrs kind of even scare to comment back on something they don't agree with. In the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you say or how u act, there will be always someone that would not like the way you are or the way you speak etc. So, keeping it real its the way to go, and if someone doesn't like it, they can go and watch someone else, all the love girl, u are doing and amazing job!

Not growing, not changing, not adapting is the way to a stagnant life. I’ve been watching your channel for a long time now, and whoever this version of Kelly is now is the version I like best because you seem happier and more at peace than ever before. You’ve grown into who you’re meant to be and continue to do so. So don’t stress over the comments of people who do not matter to you or your growth.

And editing 3+ days a week, Wow nice one. No wonder it seems like the cinematography and everything is improving with every new video.

Watching your videos has always given me a huge sense of peace. From the very first random video I stumbled on, I felt that feeling. It’s what made me immediate subscribe! Life has been weird lately. I feel so lost and unmotivated and I don’t know what I want to do with my life but also feel like I need to figure something out. I haven’t dove into my passions (reading and writing) in awhile and I feel incredibly disconnected to the world. I feel like I’m wanting time to go by, for this pandemic to come to an end, and in doing so I’m not enjoying the present. I’m interested in your diet as well! I have massive gut issues. Anyway, thanks for being you and still making great content that is unique to you and true to you.

Yes! You are so right in many things! I always encourage people to do what they want and love. My friend started studying how to take care of horses and many people had said to her she's crazy because she had job and all, but she didn't enjoy doing that job anymore. I was happy for her and she was surprised because all the previous negative comments she had gotten from others. So believe in yourself and encourage other people to believe in themselves too! Sorry about my bad english writing skills. Talking is so much easier, but i hope my writing was understandable. 😅 Good luck and never stop learning! 😁

0:24 "How to be poor forever" hahaha as if I needed help with that ... It's 2 am and I am drinking coffee with cookies feeling terrible because I am not able to control my own time nor have any motivation. I wish I could have a task list and be productive but my body just doesn't want to move... so "watching people being productive is not going to help you find what works for you" is really truth, I can't seem to find my spark to make me move haha... Anyways, wishing you a good week! :)

Kelly, thank you for challenging me to change, grow, and be the person that I know God wants me to be! I tend to be a procrastinator, always putting things and goals off for later, when I do this, my dreams, goals and aspirations never materialize. It's time to stop procrastinating! It's time to bring into fruition the desires of my heart. Therefore, I'm going to invest in myself. Rosetta Stone, here I come!!! Great video, as always. Another goal/desire is to, once again, live and teach English in Osaka! You've given me a lot of food for thought. Now, it's time to just do it. Once again, Kelly, thank you. Say hello, to your awesome husband Ryuuuuuu for me! ❤U Both! Take Care. ✌

I was actually thrilled to learn in one of your videos a few months back that you started coaching / mentoring others. Kelly sounds a bit like Jordan Peterson in the last part of the vid. He said to aim for what you really want and even if you don't make it, you'll get much closer than if you only aim for what you thought was possible or practical. He puts it much better than me of course but that idea has served me really well in life and so I haven't failed to achieve a single major goal

Hey i have been watching your chanel for a good while now and i love your videos. I started watching because your content was japan related. However i see your content has sort of changed probably for the better. I think you should definitely keep making your videos less about being in japan because then your videos will seem more appealing to a wider audience of people. People who are not interested in japan wont be turned off and will be more likely to watch because of their interest in the lifestyle and goals genre of content. Im Not saying to edit japan out! Just my opinion again i love Japan love you and your content!
