This is one of my favorite big three Isekai animes. The first is Gate, the second is Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions and the third is Knight and Magic. These three are the main big three animes I started the journey of Isekai fan and can't stop rewatching those three.

this is one of the most underrated anime out there it's got a good story line and some of the best art work for it's time but it never got a season 2 because of the ratings in Japan . just like any studios anime if it's a massive hit and the DVD sales are good it will get a second season this one had neither so it was left to the void of anime . I love this anime but what we think in the US doesn't matter unless it get's picked up and serialized
