The biomass they produce in such a short time is impressive. It is not fibrous enough for biofuels however. Crazy.

One time, in 2017, i had a tiny pumpkin, or gourd, if you prefer, And i put it on my table for decoration *many days later* The pumpkin was doing good. I didn't think it was real. but then... *1 month later* It started getting soft and rotten. I carried it to the front yard and buried it in the snow. (This was December or January) *april* I saw something growing in the spot i put the gourd. *august* I was outside in out frontyard ready to go Back to School shopping, but then i relized what was growing there. It was many, many more gourds. *The seeds from the other rotten pumpkin made these ones* All that happened a year ago and the pumpkins are spreading Invading my house

I threw pumpkin seeds at the backyard. I had no idea they would grow because I didn't plant them. they are massively growing in the whole place. I can see some baby pumpkins already. Can't wait for them to fully grow.
@TraceUK2 жыл бұрын
Did you hand pollinate them? If you don’t, it’s highly unlikely the pumpkins will survive unless you have loads & loads them and tonnes of Bees etc nearby
@princesskittysnummies3951 Жыл бұрын
Something similar happened to me we left baby pumpkins on the ground and they must've left their seeds so now its a pumpkin plant growing on the side of the house lol

What is with the plastic? Is it biodegradable? Does it have to be removed each year?
@fartfarmer49516 жыл бұрын
Workdove probably helps save significant amounts of water instead of being wasteful... That's my guess anyhow. Makes it where no water is wasted and it keeps everything nice and moist without paying a small fortune in water.

what.. once they were fully grown, the leaves turned into X_X is that supposed to happen
@axelpelerin13396 жыл бұрын
Yes, the "goal" of an organism is basically to grow, survive and reproduce. In this case, the roots and the leaves are gathering nutriments to create the fruit (the pumpkins), glucoce is created within the leaves and minerals are collected in the soil by the roots, then when the fruit is fully grow, they don't have any use, so they die (and so need to be removed in the garden), and then the seeds inside the pumpkins will find a way to germ again in the soil (by being eaten then digested by an animal mostly).
