Dangerous Ambushed might or might not be useful if you can't knock him down. I'll say hp mod for more survivability is a good replacement here :) UPDATED: So I'm slowly getting used to this big guy. If RNGesus blesses you with crit, you can get your solo run done under 1m. For Sharen, that is crazy!

Dangerous ambush also works on enemies that arent targeting you tho so you get massive damage coming out of invisibility every time. I think its a must for this build

@@cubeman6639 The boss always targets you though even when you're invisible. So, im not sure that applies in this instance.

Well commenting on your what you said about expecting more from him, I think they did a good job with his level of difficulty. They did bring a whole new mechanic that is weapon cores so they didn’t want him to be exquisitely difficult, they wanted a bit of a challenge that the majority of players can get their hands on the new weapon cores. I’d have to say. Although he may seem rather easy, the fight is also very easy to lose as well, imo 🤙

Nah, you're fine. You'll beat defiler in no time! Trust! It's just that Sharen is my main for such a long time so I'm very comfortable with her, but other characters I'm kinda doodoo 🙃 If anything, we have Ines now :)

What's stopping you :) Go ahead! She is not at a level like Ines or so, but if you love her abilities then I'm sure you will find her playstyle very engaging and enjoyable!

@ Oh im gonna 🙂 just been waiting on Catalysts to cook. Been fragging Defiler with Ines having fun. What’s also fun is Sharen cuz she’s an excellent dungeon clearer! Her and her Ambush mod can nuke anything in a dungeon all while subverting all risk 😁

Since you're playing Sharen, I was curious if you have a smithereen build for her? Or is that not good for the new content?

I do have smithereen, but I don't have it unlocked with core options. But technically it should work, but I assume since he is somewhat tanky we might run out of ammo before knocking him down. I don't know for sure. Gotta farm more cores for better stats and try it out myself later on Updated: so Smithereen does work, but it will not be a fast run. If anything, Enzo + Smithereen is better imo due to fact that he can replenish ammo. Public games (if you can pair up with Enzo) will be fine, but solo run for Sharen will be a bit challenging

Is the mist like the crab fire farts?

Yeah, but IW fire damage is instant while this mist is damage over time. I tried multiple times with it, and it seemed like once you get hit by the mist you will guarantee to go down due to its long duration. The solutions are: 1. Avoid the mist completely when he uses it (running away, hook, etc.) 2. If you get hit by it, make sure to get hit while the Symbionts are up because when you destroy a Symbiont the poison will change to a buff for you

When he spawn the pod what does they do ?

After some time, it will disappear and empower Defiler. One thing I notice about that is the poison mist will stay around and move with him + his shots are much lethal

Not a bad idea, but you might not crit with normal area suppression. If you just want invis + area suppression then yeah by all means, replace skill insight with something else I did some reruns, but it did not seem to crit that often for me

@ i mean they offer same amount of crit increase i did some runs if lets say we do both it can overcap over 100% when invisible. I say just have both idk. I did try ur built and did kill them not as great as u though. Still W build broski

@ about the reruns just make sure u do a slash before going camo, i wasn’t doin that and wasn’t able to start the blue beetle buff
