For my fellow nerds: what determines kinetic penetration is kinetic energy. That is KE = 1/2MV^2. More mass = more pen, more velocity = a lot more pen. This is how small projectiles still have a lot of penetration, as their speeds are ridiculously fast

This IFV should have IRST and AHEAD as it has it IRL...unless Gaijin fancies getting bug reports needlessly. The API-T round is pointless as it is useless vs Tanks with such low pen and against aircraft the standard HE round would be superior at blowing wings off....plus it has AHEAD IRL

@number7red619AHEAD is a shrapnel time fuze round. Check the PUMA in game to see it."PMC308" on the PUMA.

apit isnt useless. its very good against light targets as it has explosive filler. also the pen is enought to penetrate most mbts side on. even russian mbts can be killed tru the lower side weakspot quite easily. za-35 only fires apit + he and destroys most tanks side on even in toptier.

@number7red619 a type of anti air fragmentation shell that detonates just ahead of the target aircraft, spraying a cone of shrapnel at the target like an air-to-air missile does. Does a lot of damage while not requiring as much accuracy

Gaijin have already denied bug reports about the CV90s having IRST, so I dont think that the 35DK will get it either

*New Players please read* 1.The CV9035 is still unfinished. 2. You should compare it to the CV9030 FIN, not the CV9040C. 3. The CV90105 is much better for new players. The autoloader makes life easier for low-level crews, and you also get assists by scouting. 4. *New Players please read* For the love of GOD, I really like your videos, but please don't recommend APDS over APFSDS because you save 150 SILVER LIONS, NOT GE. You are leading new players into making a mistake, crippling the vehicle's performance, and making new players' lives miserable by saving 150 SL(THE APDS HAS WORSE PEN AND POS PEN DAMAGE AND 150 SL IS NOT WORTH, IF YOU SCOUT 1 TARGET YOU GET LIKE 120 SL). 5. The CV9035DK should receive the AHEAD (programmable time fuse "shotgun") ammo and the Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) sight, making it capable of tracking and leading air targets. 6. The APDS weight doesn't mean the post-penetration effects will be better. 7. WTF is this review? Like SAKO, how many hours do you have in the game? Why are you recommending APDS over APFSDS on a premium vehicle?

I feel like APFSDS doesn't do much damage, the APDS is heavier and larger, and does have better post pen; at least from my experience. I appreciate the additional info about the CV9035

@@SAKOSNIPER hes just butthurt... its an ok review althrough you shuld have compared it to the standard CV9040 which is at the same BR .... obviously the CV9040C is better in every way and APDS post pen modifiers are better than the APFSDS

@@SAKOSNIPER first of all, sorry if I was rude. I shot around 200 rounds of each ammo to check the post-penetration damage. I really can't see enough difference in terms of post-penetration damage (not saying there isn't any, I just can't notice any, both suck). But I noticed a huge difference in terms of penetration when shooting at angled targets (T-64B) from the side, and when shooting the lower glacis of some vehicles (Leopards), making the APDS do no damage at all. So yeah, it isn't worth the "better" post-penetration damage. Also, the APDS is heavier because it takes into consideration the ballistic cap. The penetrator ("bullet" inside the ballistic cap) is much lighter than the APFSDS penetrator.

DM13 is dirty. Especially on the Gepard or anything that uses the 35mm gun. Tiny APHE that shreds everything inside tanks and planes. I recommend bringing a belt for light tanks and aircraft.

unless it changed again in the last 3 patches or so, the 9040s do NOT get air target tracking, only the Lvkv does

Does the CV9035DK look too tall to anyone else? In game it appears noticeably taller than the other CV90s when pulling up next to other vehicles in test drive or even when switching between them in the hangar. Specs for the vehicle online seem to indicate it should be the same.

@@finforcer I'm so glad I'm not the only one. It even looks tall compared to the 9040s. It bothers me for some odd reason. Stats online seem to indicate it should be the same height.
