For those who are complaining about fuel consumption, there’s actually a video (thai as I remembered) where they compared the V6 TT Ranger Raptor and the 2.0 Bi-turbo Ranger Raptor. It was stated that fuel economy wise, the V6 Ranger Raptor was more efficient due to the power it provided. The Ranger Raptor is quite heavy, so the 2.0 Bi Turbo needs to exert more effort as compared to the V6 TT RR. You can check it out on youtube.

So, in the raptor lineup, the 2.0 bi-turbo diesel variant is just an entry level, next is the V6 diesel(if it exist) and the top-tier is this V6 petrol w/ a sophisticated 2.5" live valve internal bypass fox dampers, dual exhaust pipes & front diff lock. Now, there's a new benchmark in the Phil. market when it comes to the mid-size performance pick-up truck segment.

Medyo mahirap parin sir, kagaya sa sinasabi ni sir levi the tacoma can’t compete in the market with ranger raptor v6 around, since mas malakas talaga si raptor at mas value for the money. Price point sa TRD PRO variant pa lang ni tacoma an taas na, tas yung fan base na sinabi mo believe me karamihan dyan mga walang pambili, mga sumasabay lang sa trend, yung biggest point lang nila is “durable at reliable” which is true naman, pero dyan pa lang kitang kita mo na gipit talaga sila, ayaw nga sa ford kasi costly yung maintenance, IN SHORT AYAW SA FORD KASI CAN’T AFFORD😂. Ginagamit as an excuse yung “mahal maintenance”, for the price point of 2.7m di nga kaya how much more pa 3.7m.

I think the V6 engine might not be the best fit for the Philippines, especially with fuel prices being quite high and the maintenance itself is quite expensive. It seems like this truck would appeal more to collectors or those with a higher budget-people who spend millions on vehicles as if it were just a few hundred pesos. Just my two cents!

@@ShaggyBoy453 gas engines are cheaper to maintain than diesels. Thats a fact. The diesel injectors, DPF, CAT, and EGRs are a pain to maintain and very costly as it ages. Unlike gas engines- only the spark plugs needs changing every 5 years.
