Hi Westy, That looks like a great and easy spot to get to. Lucky Vic's, allowed to highbank no go up here in NSW. Nice piece found by Chris, if anyone would he would find it. This lock down is driving me around the bend, will need to get out soon to the bush and on the creek. Stay safe mate. Dennis

Its an Ausome spot mate. Cant wait till lock down is over so i can get back out there again. It was a nice bit Chris found, shows what might be hiding elsewhere. Hang in there, its not worth the risk heading out.

Would like access to national parks if only to scratch and pan river beds, after all floods change the whole scene.

where abouts on reedy creek are you? i’m looking to find a new spot that isn’t up mount pilot way
@highcountryoutdoors49294 жыл бұрын
Theres heaps of gold in reedy creek mate. Just look for some large rocks that havent been moved in a while and there should be heaps of black sands and fine gold. Anywhere from the falls down is ok. Private property is even better ;)
@kharnation4 жыл бұрын
Hey bro awesome video again! Question - how do you choose new sites to test? Are there a core set of factors to measure/look for?
@highcountryoutdoors49294 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! When choosing an area to search for gold you need to start with research. Check historical records and data to see if that creek even holds gold. If it does you start by test panning areas of low pressure where heavy material (gold) would drop out of the main water flow. I like to picture a creek in flood and start with the low pressure flood zones. Theres heaps to it, i might start including a bit more info in my vids.
