Matthew, why accept insurance when dealing with the ins companies is a headache? Cash pay oon is a win win for our patients and ourselves. Ins feels abusive.

Hello Matthew, thank you for your content! My husband and I are starting a private practice, he’s the counselor and I will be handling most of the admin. He is already credentialed with a lot of insurance panels, but it’s my understanding that we have to re-submit every 30 days to maintain his credentialing. We were looking into a tool for this called CAQH, but their customer support has not answered my requests for more info. Do you have any recommendations for this? Thank you!

Probably not. Interns usually are not covered with insurance panels. However, it would not hurt to ask
