I love Discovery Junction in the middle of Marlington with it's Opera House,Amphitheater and Splash Pad.

My exwife and I used to vacation a the Inn at mountain quest in frost WV and we'd eat at the restaurant on your right across the bridge when you turned left a marathon gas station. It had a big variety of food choices. At one point they had food dispensers so you could feed the ducks in the river.

defiantly a keeper for those who love small stable towns with good amenities Marlinton is a town in and the county seat of Pocahontas County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 998 at the 2020 census. Located along the Greenbrier River, it is known for its scenery.
