A quick update on Mikey and Mia’s Free flying

Just a quick vlog on Mikey and Mia’s Free flying as we are now flying them individually due to when they are together, especially around houses, they both take off and explore for hours on end. Hormones, spring and parrots do not go well together. We think they are hunting for a place to nest and know our area very well so just kinda bored of it now.
We will do a more detailed update in a few weeks when we see progress so we can share the story properly.

I was wondering how things were going. Thanks for the update. Definitely needs more work, but you're getting closer every time. I think you're right about them looking for a place to build a nest. Beautiful as these birds are this honestly scared me, what if some of the local birds saw them and decided to gang up on them? As someone who frequently hears Magpies attacking other birds I know they’re nasty little *cusses* 😓😓😓

Birds of prey are more active after a storm. There are also certain times of day that I’m told one should avoid free flying.

Has a leisurely walk, Mia ripped my glasses off decided she was gonna fly off. *Mia gave not one fuck for daddy human, “where is mummy human? I’m offended you even tried”. Oh wait!actually, I might get more fly time…. *reconsiders daddy human* I think I need my reward walnut to consider these matters further Mia’s daily life dilemmas. I wish I was Mia, I also wish I didn’t cry over a multitude of these videos. But here I am. Owning my truths.
