Hi. I'm retired, 75, in the USA. I too have limited funds, but am quite happy alone. You look quite young still.. no gray in your hair. It was nice spending time with you. I seem to be quite satisfied with bathing, cleaning, sleep, a nice home-made meal, a little shopping. I journal, instead of meditating. I enjoy Nature. I have a small neat apt. I spend some time online, watching News, KZbin, some Opera-Ballets-Classical music. I read before I go to bed. I have some friends, family; but relish my solitary independent time. Like you, it doesn't seem to take a lot to be content. It is nice to have an air-conditioner in the heat. My best wishes to you.

I’m 19 years old, and as an introvert I often get the feeling that this world is such a loud place to be in for someone as me, who is just craving for silence and peace most of the time. I loved seeing how positive you are and your thoughts about daily things, such as eating a meal or meditation (I should give it a try, I’m more used to write my feelings in a notebook). Sometimes I find myself asking if the kind of life I’m craving for is “bored”, just because other people thinks the more you have the happier you are. But seeing content like this makes me realize it’s okay to search for a peaceful life.

The reason I said “somewhat” is because specifically in the USA from where I personally live in my country, my wage is minimum and barely above the “poverty” line. it’s incredibly difficult to get by on your own. Cars are not cheap, housing certainly is not either. This is a misconception from many people who are on the outside looking in that we all live a glamorous high life here and that is not the case . I am not disillusioned to the realities of Third World war torn countries and that in comparison I have an abundance. I’m simply stating where I’m personally at and nothing else in response to this video and nothing else. not here to strike up controversy friend.

@@thevoja4ok There are a lot of people that live in pure poverty. The minimum wage is $7.25 an hour and hasn't gone up in 15 years. Rents are double what they were 15 years ago.
