OK, now we have the information that was not just one big meteor, at least the "bomb explosion" seems to be another, since looks like all continents are fuck up, and they don't know how to swim, we need to consider this as an attack from an higher civilization using the death angels as first line of attack. To be honest I don't like the idea, for sequels, but various meteors with living creatures just flying around and by chance 2 hitting earth in separate continents without obliterating the creatures seems at least unlikely to happen.

I always go on the alternate plot thinking, but I've always wondered, why are alien creatures always so hostile?

*If I remember correctly,* it's a direct result of their sensitive hearing. Loud noises are physically painful to them, with noises that are loud enough or of a high enough pitch being outright cripplingly painful for them. So, when one of these aliens goes on the attack, it's an instinctual attempt to take out something that is causing it great pain. Kind of makes you wonder how they can tolerate their own vocalizations.

It's because at one point long ago in their alien evolution their version of Karens and woke Lefty libtards were allowed to proliferate and dominate. Now, the whole race of butt-ugly aliens are so defiled, corrupt, pissed off and violent that they cancel (i.e. terminate) EVERYTHING that even makes a sound. Talk about no more freedom of speech! This is what ultimately happens when everything is deemed as racist and everyone is called a nazi...butt-ugly Karens turn into butt-ugly aliens who ruin everyone's fun and eat your face.

the sound whenever a monster impacts somewhere is just pure overdriven, distorted rumbling. The scene is great but the noise sound just like if you had your audio equipment on volume 100/10. The monsters would have to be several tons to generate such a massive THUMP sound.... i don't get it when especially in horror movies/explosions etc it's not just "loud" it's just insanely overdriven way over the maximum sound peak ...so it just sounds SHIT

The monster looks so scary and also it’s actually sad because in part 1 the dad and the youngest child died and the youngest child actually didn’t listen but the youngest child actually didn’t know to be quiet and it actually wanted a toy and it’s like the dad is saying you can’t have toys but it’s like he’s sad like the dad is like you can’t have it I’m sorry but there’s monsters out there and also the dad tried to protect he’s kids and it’s actually very very sad because he was trying to protect he’s kids 😭
