moreover, if you love the mountains then there are several places in the Great Himalayas..there are some good hill stations, but if you want to see the real India you should visit places like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and many more..and if you are interested in trekking then you have thousands of trails..I can recommend one like Madmaheshwar..its off the of Kedarnath..another good trek is to the valley of flowers..I can guarantee that if you visit these places you WILL come back many times

you should atleast visit Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta and some cities of South India..In Delhi you will get a feel of medieval India, when the north was ruled by the Great Mughals..you will find their palacial forts, tombs etc..again, Bombay and Calcutta has charm of their own which certainly makes people fall in love with these places..and if you want to get a glipmse of ancient Indian culture you should must visit some cities in South India like Madurai, Chennai etc..
