Music was never anything other than a spiritual level. The true meaning of music lies inside its soulfulness, and how thoroughly it can change the state of a human mind. This performance has made me believe that I am fortunate to be one of those who can actually enjoy such kind of music. In the era of false music productions, this is what music really is. The spirituality and soulfulness which is there in classical music are difficult to find elsewhere. Those who enjoy the utter components of this performance can really appreciate it. That violin at 3:15 and the choice of instruments throughout the song were absolutely amazing! All the vocalists express themselves even though they might not understand the language. This is the beauty which only music can produce.

AR Rahman’s composition is like an actual psychedelic journey. The way he creates contrast, the depth, the flourishes is magical, like a long winding path into a forest that occasionally opens up to sunlight, and then you go through some dark patches. And then it opens upto this huge mountain regions. The strings that lift you up into the sky with a tinge of bitter sweetness. And then you sit for a while just to start to running in excitement! The mix of excitement, delicacy, wonder, bitterness in every aspect of the composition is something only a master like ARR can do!
